There were three separate police departments giving away back packs, school supplies, groceries and SWAG. It's great to see the police and the community working together. Now, the bookstore is filled with several titles by black authors, both new and old. There is also a small selection of oils, black soap, and other items. The owner is extremely friendly and willing to help you find any title he doesn't have. I will definitely be back not only because he ordered a book for me, but also cause why not!?! Then, I received an invoice from them 2 months later for $295, which included a $25 charge for shipping just the 1 book. I called them to clarify and the representative told me the book was shipped for a 60-day preview and I needed to ship it back (at my school's expense) or pay the $295. I would avoid them at all costs since they obviously are running their business unethically by trying to scam non-profits schools like mine.
