The savories consisted of a red pepper quiche, spinach artichoke cups, cucumber Boursin sandwiches and almond chicken salad croissants. The standard tea includes one scone per person and I highly recommend ordering extra -- they're phenomenal and are served with strawberry jam and clotted cream. Our desserts were a raspberry lemon pound cake, chocolate and vanilla macarons and a vanilla custard in a pie crust cup with a fresh raspberry on top. Everything was amazing and they rotate menus seasonally. Children are permitted but it's the same menu and price for them, just FYI. Lastly hole 16 is a sharp dogleg left where the green is hidden from your tee shot. But you see that the hole opens up after you get to the fairway. Staff were pleasant and the location is convenient with easy parking, but that can't make up for rooms that no longer meet Marriott standards. At current rates, the value just isn't there until a top-to-bottom refresh happens. I'd happily return after a renovation; until then, I'll stay at the Marriott next door.
