It was created at the end of WWII to welcome new arrivals and encourage friendship amongst ladies living in the city and has now developed into a very structured association that organises various activities for its members.
To give you a few examples, there is a mother and toddler group, a book club, a cinema group, walk and talk, creativity group, and much more. They also organise one luncheon per month, a happy hour, and a tour of Bordeaux and beyond. At Christmas and Easter, they organise parties for the kids. There are a few criteria to join the association so the best thing to do is check the web site and contact them. Welcome to Bordeaux!
