I remember the first day I took my kids here I asked what are the parents said yes, she said in your car. That was the first time I had to let someone else watch over my kids, they are homeschooled. I'm so glad that happened! I needed to step away and let them teach. That was a good first day!! They are so patient with my children. (Kiddos age is 7 and 9) When one of my children needed someone to do an adhd assessment, they asked who else sees and teaches my child, I pointed to this direction. A tutor filled out their assessment about my child and I was able to find out with more doctors appts and assessments, my child does indeed have adhd. Then we got both kids assessed for dyslexia, we found out they both had dyslexia and dysgraphia. The Clovis Tutor Club immediately adjusted!!!! They struggle with reading and now are spelling and reading more words then ever before. I highly recommend this place!!! When the pandemic hit, my son was left behind. He already struggled with ADHD and staying focused. Straight F's are what finally made us make the decision to get him academic help. However, Christina was very nice and my son liked her and she's the only one who did once try and let me know what was going on. We started taking my godson to Tutoring Club in Clovis during the 6th grade. He was struggling in all his classes. His teacher even told him he'd never make it in high school. Tutoring Club has help him so much. He is about to finish his sophomore year with all A's and B's. They have been very flexible with his schedule and helped us throughout the last several years. Where to start.....we started our daughter here back in late January. She had an F in math and was struggling in some other classes. With math being our major concern, she had a disconnect somewhere and we could not figure it out. We tried some private tutoring sessions here and there but nothing seemed to work. We ended up at the tutoring center. They gave her an assessment test, instantly found the disconnect. She started tutoring the very next day! Fast forward 2-2.5 months, covid-19 has all schools closed, bummer, but her school immediately went to online. No biggie, I messaged the tutoring club and got her tutoring time changed. I came here with my best friend a while ago to pick up her son one day. He is only 5 but he reads so well! He's been going here for about a year now, and i'm sure he's ahead of his class. He read me one of the Little Critter books and was completely understanding everything he read. The staff is super sweet, friendly and happy to see the kids succeeding with their exercises and homework. The staff seems very patient, kind and even with a full load of kids, they don't appear stressed out. When i asked her son about Tutoring Club, he was so excited to tell me all about the work he does, and how he likes working with Jake or Gabbi, or Melinda. If I could no stars I would do so. These people want you to finance so much money I can't believe they are still in business. If I had that kind of money I would put my child in private school. I guess that's what they believe they are. We were looking for someone to help our child one on one so she doesn't feel like she's being left behind anymore. Our son was failing 6th grade. He was trying his hardest, has an IEP at school with extra help... he was still failing school. We signed him up at Tutoring Club and after his first tutoring session, his school teacher said that he was already showing 10 times an improvement! Our son immediately has higher self esteem and believes in himself and KNOWS that he can DO THIS! He cried and said that this was was the first week that his name wasn't on the board for incomplete assignments. The staff is AMAZING and so CARING! They immediately feel like family. I wish that I would have listened to my mom years ago when she suggested getting tutoring for him. If anyone is on the fence about enrolling their child... do it now! Life has changed in our household. No more chaotic evenings of mom and dad trying to help our 11 year old with incomplete class work that we have no idea how to do either. Make sure you call every time you go, this is the fourth time we have showed up and no one is here. If you look at the website or even yelp it says they are open. We live a good distance away and this is extremely frustrating. Also we are not the only ones in this boat, every time we have showed up to it being closed others have walked up to the door and checked to see if it was opened. read more

I love the tutors and supervising staff! My son has almost been there about a year and he has progress greatly in his reading, comprehension, and behaviors at school! They are flexibility with last months slots and very patient with him during his tutoring time. My son is taking medication for ADHD and have works really well with him! My son is going to continue to attend and encourage anyone that has children struggling in any subject to try out this tutoring Club! My daughter needed help with SAT/ACT math test prep. Tutoring club was there and my daughter's tutor, Beth Ann, was extremely helpful. My daughter reported that her tutor was so easy to talk to, was excited to get questions, was thorough and helpful in explaining things. My daughters ACT math score went up three points and she felt so much more confident going in. SAT was last weekend, so we'll see how that went but she felt that she did much better. Beth Ann helped my daughter with the math in her math class and the math in her physics class as well. We had a great experience with Tutoring Club. Read reviews lamenting the expense and yes, it's expensive. But the quality is high and the result, for us, was worth the 34h's of help we paid for. read more

I give this tutoring center 5 stars hands down. I was a struggling college student in statistics. I was assigned to Debbie. She IS an amazing tutor. She explained statistics to me in a way that I could understand. Scheduling was a breeze with Catie. Call or text easy and simple. If your a struggling student or have a child who struggles. Tutoring club is the way to go. I attended tutoring club when I was in high school also. They tutor all ages for many different subjects. Thank you tutoring club! My son had a very rough start to 6th grade. He was getting D's and F's! We spent hours trying to help him figure out his schoolwork every night. He was so overwhelmed it was affecting his attitude. We have had local high school and college kids tutor him a few times before covid and they were ok. But his grades had never been this bad, so we knew he really needed help. My cousin had tried multiple tutoring programs in southern California, and Tutoring Club has been their favorite by far, so we decided to try the Tutoring Club in Clovis. Our son was very resistant to go to the tutoring club at first. When he did his assessment test, he crossed out the Tutoring Club logo on the top of the page and wrote "Hell", which is very out of character for him! It was embarrassing. The staff at the tutoring club was great! They didn't judge him. They were patient with him and supported him. After a few months, he enjoyed going. He started Tutoring Club about 6 months ago and now he has A's, B's, and a few C's! and he is back to his old self. He looks forward to going to Tutoring Club now. Having a place he can go to and get help, and not struggling with homework for hours every night, has helped our whole family. I'm sure he will have struggles adjusting to Junior High, as most kids do, but it is nice to know that he will have a place to get help with his homework. My kids started tutoring club last school year because they were both so frustrated with school work and the lack of confidence they had. My daughter always had struggles with falling behind or not fitting in. Tutoring club and the tutors gave her the confidence she needed to excel. She is in 4th grade now on high honor roll. He worked this summer on getting ready for Kindergarten, and it prepared him to start his first school year off with confidence and a love of learning. My son and I were never taken seriously. I was told we were getting the deal of a life time. 200 a month. My son was able to go twice a week under their terms the time they selected not what was best for our family. 530-730 Tuesdays and Thursdays. I was never able to adjust the time because we were getting such a good deal. We were also not allowed to make up days missed because the time slot didn't work for us. I was also told not to tell anyone about our deal. So the 2 hours he was there 1 hour was for study hall 1 hour of tutoring. So that's technically 8 hours a month of just tutoring. 25 dollars a hour ok not a bad deal except the fact that we were not treated as regular customers. My sons grades got worse and worse the whole time he was there. My son was also never able to complete more than 1 assignment in 2 hours. That goes to show how much he was neglected. I expressed my concerns several times and kept getting told well your getting a good deal. That was very rude and unprofessional. Such a waste of time and money. read more

The Tutoring Club has been THE BEST investment we could have made for our son! He was struggling in school with blending sounds, reading, comprehension, etc. and getting him to do homework with us was a nightmare. We started taking him in May 2017 and noticed an improvement in a couple of weeks. The staff is seriously amazing. Ryan and Katie will set realistic goals and are invested in my child just as much we are.
