There are swings, a sand box with diggers, and tons of places to climb and scamper around. There are public restrooms and a seating area to sit and eat snacks or lunches. Be prepared to chase your kids a lot. It is maze like. This is my boys favorite park to visit.

A town effort to raise funds in 2009 contributed to new playground equipment, restroom facilities, and refurbishing the gazebo and covered picnic facilities. Previous efforts in 1975 made the park possible. There are still some vestiges of the mid 70s additions to the park, like the monkey bars and the carousel... But everything is fun. The park is fenced to keep little ones off the roadways that run through town. Like most of North Dakota, there are mosquitos here, so spray in a little deet, and enjoy the tranquility. Shade trees, grass that doesn't need watering, and the occasional toad hopping around about sums up the experience.

From the owner: We offer full electrical, sewer, and water hookups at all 63 sites. We have 5 cabins available for…read morerent. Cabins 1 & 2 sleep up to 4. Cabins 3, 4, & 5 sleep up to 6. Cabins are equipped with a dorm fridge, microwave, and a bunk bed with twin on top and full on bottom (campers must provide own sheets, pillows, and blankets/sleeping bags). Cabins 3, 4 & 5 has an additional loft space that could be used for sleeping (Campers must provide own air mattress/sleeping bag for loft). Campground host is available in campsite 1 to assist campers throughout the day and after office hours. Visitor Center, with washer/dryer and vending machines, is open 24/7 from May-October. Public playground, dog park, walking/biking trails, picnic shelters, disk golf course, and outdoor pool near by. Outdoor pool operates from June - August, weather permitting. Canoe, kayak, and paddle boat rentals available from campground host.

This fenced area has bright, bold signage & is directly adjacent to the campground area (old school…read morelot). I love the convenience (out of the camper and onto the park) & thoughtful use of the available space. The porta potties were no longer there, so no public restrooms at all. It's not as fancy as some parks but these guys are just starting to dip their toes in the water. The town is working on some interesting things.
