He designed a customized exercise plan for me to follow as well as a post discharge plan for me to follow at home. Jean and Lauren, at the desk were always available to provide information regarding scheduling and insurance issues. I totally recommend this facility to anyone needing rehab, looking for a warm, comfortable and effective environment in which to recover. Rosalie W.

At Glen Rock PT I worked with Paul, the owner, who was outstanding. He spent time listening to me and working with me to find the best way to deal with my symptoms and also to help me to build my strength back. Paul never rushed and was very compassionate and thought "out of the box" regarding ways to help me heal and improve. I can not say enough about the excellent treatment I received from Paul in addition to all of his staff. I also worked briefly with 2 other of the PT's - Brian and Kathy and I received excellent treatment from them as well. All of the staff members (the aides, the office staff) were extremely kind and helpful. I would never go anywhere else!

We spoke the other day with the medical director. He took a good amount of time to talk to us about my loved one's medical condition and our concerns. Looked in depth at his chart and history. Ultimately told us to invite our loved one's PCP to contact him to share thoughts to try to dig deeper into some things. In short, very personal attentive one on one care. Very knowledgeable. You don't get that everywhere if at all. The fact the head medical director made himself available to us without requiring a scheduled meeting or heads up is amazing care. Every staff member we have encountered is kind and friendly. Very personable and outgoing. You don't get the bare minimum. You can tell they care. They joke. They express concern. They listen and interact. And we have seen this with other patients in other rooms when no third parties are around. So it isn't just best behavior when family is present. It is the way of life here. So I continue to be so pleased with this facility.

Everything about this facility gives you comfort in knowing your loved ones are being well cared for.

Two of the three staff psychiatrists determined that he did not have dementia and shouldn't be on the drugs. It took numerable emails and phone calls to Christian Health management including the CEO, Medical Director, VP of Mental Health, Heads of Social Services and Nursing to get him out of this hellhole. And he lost 17 pounds in 40 days. Ramapo Ridge drugs patients, they don't treat them. Don't ever let one of your loved ones go there. They should have their license revoked. He was in acute kidney failure and severe malnutrition. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the shape he was in. Nothing but skin and bones. He was only 70 yrs old. My husband died after 10 days in the hospital. He was not responding to any treatment, and I thought it best to stop his suffering and use hospice.

HORRIBLE FACILITY AND STAFF!! If you love your family…read moremember, do not bring them to this facility. My dad is a stroke survivor who is nonverbal and barely moves. When he was transferred from the hospital to this facility, his suffering began. He was only supposed to go there for rehabilitation to regain his strength after the hospital, but he was never properly rehabilitated. He received maybe half an hour of therapy for two days a week, and the rest of the time, he was left in an uncomfortable wheelchair in the hallway, wearing a diaper and with no blanket, just staring at the nurses' station. The reason I was given for this treatment was that he was a fall risk, and they needed to keep an eye on him. I raised my concerns with Barbara, the Director of Nursing, but she disregarded everything I said. I also spoke with Susan, the facility's director, who promised to look into my concerns. However, each day I visited, my dad was still sitting alone in the hallway. He developed a urinary tract infection and a severe diaper rash, which no one noticed or cared about it until I brought it up. The nurses seem to do only the bare minimum for the elderly residents, and those who cannot express themselves suffer the most. The staff is rude and unprofessional. When my dad was discharged from this facility, he was supposed to go home with antibiotics for the UTI and other medications. However, he was never prescribed any meds to take home. I called Susan and Barbara numerous times, the nurses' station, but I never received a response. I had to take my dad to his primary, only to have to get retested for the UTI infection so that they can write him up a new script. He was in pain for weeks due to the negligence of this facility. I could continue to detail how terrible this place is, but I hope this is enough to have this place investigated and monitored. These elderly patients are not safe in their hands.

Watching someone I…read moredeeply care about go through such a vulnerable chapter of their life, it brought me immense peace to know they were surrounded by compassionate, committed, and truly present staff. The environment fostered not only healing, but also accountability, structure, and a sense of safety--something that's so crucial during recovery. I could see genuine progress and personal growth and I know a huge part of that is because of the tools, support, and care given here. From the detox program to the outpatient services, the support was consistent, compassionate, and truly effective. What really stood out to me was having family therapy meetings that involved me every step of the way -- it made such a difference to feel included and supported as part of the healing process as well as the weekly check ins over the phone with how both parties are feeling during the process (family stand point)

But later I realized it was alll worth it. I am still currently getting services from this place. I highly recommend Gina as a therapist. She is the best there is. She makes you feel comfortable. She understands you. She doesn't judge. She gives the best advices. She understands wen you have bad days but she pushes you to do better. She is friendly and kind. She helps you with any other resources. I come from a background where I always wanted therapy but was told by my abuser that therapy was a waste of time. I have to personally say that therapy is NOT a waste of time. If you feel like you need it. Get it. With time, you become a better person and no matter your struggles, Gina will help you get past them. I have James as my Counselor for Drug & Alcohol. James is the best. I give him a hard time once in a blue but he means well. He teaches and he makes the classes fun. He is silly in his own way and he really does want to help. He teaches and provides the tools that are needed to get pass those bad addictions. He brings the people in the group closer together. He might be tough at times with the group but I promise you he means well. He doesn't charge and even when you don't go in with a great mood. He gives you the opportunity to give you our own space and not have to answer all the questions in class. I like that both Gina and James push you to attend all the classes and they push you not to give up. I've learned and I am still learning a lot. I am glad I am part of this place. Caterina
