She had thoughtful questions and got a good understanding of what we wanted. She helped us define a schedule, including nudging us to clearly define group photos and optimize the ordering of them, like ensuring that elderly family didn't have to spend long standing around between groups. I appreciated her website with lots of details, including clear pricing. We chose the micro wedding package for up to 3 hours of coverage and scheduled to make use of the entire window. Emma never made us feel rushed; I think she even ended up photographing for a bit longer than that, despite our best attempts to be respectful of her time! On the day of, Emma showed up early and took some lovely photos of the venue. During setup she was unobtrusive and got some great shots of us getting ready and guests arriving. Similarly, I barely noticed her during the ceremony, but she captured it excellently. Group photos after the ceremony went smoothly, including more great candid shots of guests interacting as each group got in position. Finally, photos with just me and my wife also went smoothly. Emma had scoped out a location for us with good lighting, and she was also happy to wander around with us to specific sites we wanted. She was friendly and funny and made our camera-shy selves comfortable. As promised, she got us some highlight "sneak peek" photos 3 days later, and had the full album ready for us 4 and a half weeks later. It was easy to download the full album at full resolution from her hosting service. I'm really glad we hired Emma and I am happy to recommend her!

From the first time we met her, she's been nothing but patient and loving with my children. She genuinely cares about you and your family and creates amazing heirloom quality works of art. We have many large art pieces hanging around the house that we treasure. Sometimes, kids don't cooperate and she knows how to get them involved and interested, never rushes and the result has been amazing every single time! I'm very self conscious about myself, but I wanted my children to have some pictures with mommy too. Shannon guided me through wardrobe choices, made lots of useful suggestions, helped pose this chubby girl in the best way possible and the photos were a knockout. I was so extremely happy. What I also love about Shannon's work is versatility. This girl is amazing at everything: from working with families to creating one of a kind jaw dropping artsy pieces. Her butterfly sessions are always a hit, too. Honestly, I cannot recommend her more.

Both Carrie and her assistant showed up with more than ample time to create their magic in a perfect corner of the venue that they skillfully transformed into a scene reminiscent of Ancient Greece, the prom theme was"Ancient Enchantment." The set was like a walk through time and was totally timeless! She really knows how to execute a theme in a way that will go beyond your wildest dreams. In addition to the amount of time they spent setting up, they made certain to take pictures of all of the decorations that made the event special, and ensured that all of the students had the option to take multiple photos and were positioned perfectly for each. What a great gift to have the photographer treat each student like a highly paid model- with pictures to match-. Their work is just stunning and I can't say enough- Hurry up and hire her before she's booked!!!
