She didn't realize the Stanley Hotel was here in Colorado so I took her and her old man up to see it. After that we went through Rocky Mountain National Park before heading back down to Southern Colorado. We stopped for food in Granby and caught a flat. Thought I had a spare bit the car had a donut. Crap. Well, it wasn't ideal but we were mobile again at least, if still 4-5 hours from home. Not half an hour later just past Tabernash, we hit a pothole that BENT THE RIM OF THE DONUT! Called for a tow and was going to Idaho springs to spend the night while he had someone coming to get them to take them back home. I started looking for tire places in Idaho Springs for tomorrow (it was Sunday and sun was going down so NO WAY would anything be open). Imagine my surprise when Pure Mobile Tire showed up as OPEN!!! I thought for sure it had to be wrong but took a chance and called anyway. Sure enough he was open. He asked what kind of tire I needed and I told him. He said he would check to see if he had one and call me back. He called me back a couple of minutes later and said he did! Wish I had called him instead of my insurance roadside assistance! The tow dropped is off in Idaho Springs and I called him again. He showed up 15 minutes later and got us back on the road not long after. $40 for the tire, and $100 for the service call... At almost 11 at night ON A SUNDAY!!! 3AM and we're back home safe after a very eventful day. If not for Pure Mobile Tire I would have been stuck in a hotel tonight while a friend drove for 10+ hours total round trip to pick up my folks and take them back home and get back home himself. Extremely reasonable, knew what he was doing, and quick! He took the tire (the original flat) off the wheel, mounted the replacement, took off the donut and put the real tire back on the car. 10/5 stars!

I made it over one evening just to see if they could take a look and they were able to squeeze me in the next morning. They took the step that the other shop hadn't and drilled my frame a bit to make sure the hitch could be fully attached. Held together perfectly for our long drive back to Chicago. I was ripped off, insulted, and threatened with physical violence…read more $1,900 for a spark plug replacement?! Absolute robbery. This is a $500 job, $600 max. I checked with other shops in the area. This is not even in the ballpark of a fair price. They are lying about providing an estimate prior to service. That never happened. They threatened to "kick my a**" because I was attempting to argue these charges. They called me a dbag, told me to F myself. All sorts of profanity and insults. Just an absolutely insane way to treat a customer who has brought business to them for years. Never again. My fault for trusting them to conduct their business in an honest manner. I've taken vehicles here before so I wasn't expecting to get ripped off and extorted like this. I certainly was not expecting to be threatened with violence. It is unfathomable to me how a business owner could think that scamming, stealing from, insulting, and threatening working people in their own community will be a successful business strategy. If this is how they treat locals, imagine how they treat tourists... Edit: the business owner is blatantly lying in their reply to this review. I WAS NEVER PROVIDED AN ESTIMATE. Stop lying. Charge me a fair price, and don't threaten to beat me up when I complain about you scamming me. It's really not that difficult. Just be a decent human being. What is wrong with these people?
