SUBJECT: Spivey's Premier Painting - evaluation …read more As a result of the excellent paint work performed by Spivey Premier Painting on the exterior of my home, I commissioned them to also paint my 13' X 14' cedar storage shed in our back yard. They first performed a power wash of the shed at the time they painted our house. Then, several days later they returned to apply the paint to the shed. The west side of the shed was shaded by trees and mold had deteriorated the wood. Mr. Spivey noticed the condition and recommended a repair with 2' X 12' lumber to the outside of the shed, to which I agreed. They applied the reinforcement, which fit perfectly, and sealed it with caulking. All done very professionally. I am glad that they do more than just painting, They are able to do the complete job. Being made of cedar, the shed required two coats of paint. After the first coat of paint was applied the color was more red than I preferred, but they were able to make a run to the local Sherwin Williams store and purchase a darker brown color and the final second coat of paint dried to a beautiful smoky gray-brown. Mr. Spivey and his son are professional, personable, and very meticulous in their work. No paint on anything but the shed and they left the area completely clean. My wife and I love to look out the kitchen window at our freshly painted shed. They even left me a half can of paint for future touch up if necessary! I was completely satisfied with both jobs at my home. Based on my experience with the work performed, I can recommend Spivey's Premier Painting. Ken Bindner Email: ken_bindner@yahoo.com

Glad we also used a local company. Highly recommend.

I originally heard of them from half a dozen people at my old place workplace who had them paint and liked their work. Their prices are very reasonable and I knew they prepped all the areas before paining like any cracks or gaps. They did my last 2 houses and now my new house. The walls had many issues from someone who did a lease to own then backed out a year later and left the lovely house pretty torn up. It was painted in a flat off white to hide all the issues. They also had a dog who tore up the wood floors and carpet. They had to resurface the entire area in the kitchen and other areas then sand to make the walls look normal again before starting to paint. They prepped very well so as not to get paint or dust from sanding on any of your items and took whatever time was needed to complete the project in a beautiful manner and no unexpected fees added after the original quote, They cleaned up everything before they left were very respectful at all times and the areas of the house they painted look great. I'd like to have them back when I can afford to paint the other rooms mostly on the 2nd floor. I would highly recommend them.
