We asked to eat there and were served in to go plates. Disappointed
Veronica M.

This review update is mainly for the uncomfortable feeling the server (Natalia) made us have. She was so rude and got worse after we purchased the signature drink "Tequila Honey Bee". She literally slammed everything used in the process and mixed it with the worse attitude. She also mistreated her coworkers and raised her voice enough we could heard her on the other side of the kitchen. AWFUL. I speak Spanish and she wasn't saying very nice things to them. Other than that the food was still good but we ordered it to stay there and was presented with plastic to go containers, not what we expected. She made it so unpleasant to be there and enjoy. That was her way to say "get out and don't stay". All we wanted was a quiet dinner and enjoy our time.

Absolutely every time we go to turmeric and Co it's a 10 out of 10, The bartender always has some great creative drink that's absolutely gorgeous and perfect for pictures, the lady who brings out the food is always so kind and nice and always ask if we need anything else, the food is always hot and fresh and absolutely the most flavorful thing in that complex, and the drinks are not only beautiful they are so tasty very nice. The space is very nice for it to be a shared space It's very individualized and unique are absolutely love this place anytime I'm in the area I will be there seeing what the drink is and having one of those great meals It's always a good time great people knowledgeable staff and a great price point All in one flavorful adventure.

Tasty food and quick service! The naan bread might be some of the fluffiest I've ever had! We will be back to try other dishes too. They do have a parking validation inside--wait until you go inside to scan to avoid paying in the parking lot.

Came in expecting a different menu . we were so hungry we just ordered 2 rolls for a snack. Server was informative & if you've been here you know it is a walk up and order place with multiple food vendors . The service was good.

Fantastic Indian restaurant with classic favorites and interesting fusion options. We sampled the berry mimosa which is great for people that like a sweeter cocktail, and the Lychee margarita which is more on the sour side. The butter chicken was fantastic but more on the tart side which is my preference. For appetizers I always enjoy a pakora which was delicious but the butter chicken Kathi roll is something I will be thinking about as a stand out favorite. There are plenty of vegan options including the Moilee veggie curry which is a coconut curry. The patio is delightful.

This was a great spot to visit! The bartender TJ made my friend a mocktail based on her likes, which he specifically came over to question to make sure she got a mocktail she enjoyed! The food was well flavored and great fusion adaptations. I find many fusion places are too centered around the American palette, but this spot is great for the mix of Indian and American flavors. Also enjoyed talking to Damien, the director of the restaurant. Really friendly dude. Overall, would recommend !

Butter chicken roll and mango lassi

The butter chicken roll was amazing! They deserve five stars just for the roll alone. I promise you can't go wrong with the butter chicken roll and mango lassi. They also make alcoholic drinks which are tasty as well.

Nestled in hunter's station is a great new Indian fusion spot. Went with a group and ordered much of the menu to try. I can't say we had a single bad item in the bunch. Everything was so delicious and actually ordered seconds of a few. Drinks/cocktails were pretty great as well. Plenty of seating inside and plenty more on the patio. Staff were very friendly and attentive. There's some parking in a pair lot and some free in the street though hard to find.

I can summarize this restaurant as 'Neither here, nor there'. Yet another time Yelp review did not reflect my experience. I will say the cocktails were exceptional, which is why the rating is at least 3. (My friend and husband tried the cocktails, Bay of Bengal and Tigress). And in starters, the vada, and onion pakora were good. The actual food though, which is essentially some pastas, the makhani trattole and sweet potato gnocchi, were not palatable. Not sure what it was, but overwhelmingly cinnamon flavor. Whatever it was, couldn't have more than one bite. And my 5 year old's butter pasta which is probably the simplest to do, was also not good. They were out of potatoes, so couldn't try that set of their menu options. But essentially we ended up going to a different restaurant and having a proper desi dinner. Do go here for the cocktails and starters maybe!

Let's support this place! East Nashville finally has good Indian food along with solid cocktails. Their cauliflower is a must order. The naan is fresh and plentiful! Pictured below is the salad, so colorful and the chicken had lots of flavor. They spruced up Hunters Station with their plants so it's really a lovely setting. Service is fantastic, they even do table side! Make them your next stop, you won't be disappointed.

When we arrived the garbage was overflowing and the guy at the register was rude. Food was fast food-ish, and okay at best.

It's a fairly big place with a bar, couches, fireplace with a HUGE beautiful fire, cocktail tables, and cozy booths. Dark, candlelight, this place has a vibe! 5 stars for atmosphere for sure! The service was not great, unfortunately. It was just so slow, every step took FOREVER. We would have gotten dessert but the waitress never came back. I finally stood up, put my jacket on, and stood next to our table, as a hint that we were ready for the check. 3/5 stars for service. Now the food. Do you see those fries?? They are some of the most unique fries I've ever had. Crispy AND chewy on the outside, light and fluffy on the inside. Served with bernaise, these alone are worth coming back for! The burger fell flat IMO. My husband liked it better than I did, but it didn't have much flavor. Some might say it needed ketchup, but for me it was more than that. It was a case where it seemed to have all the right ingredients but didn't "pop". It comes out wrapped in paper which is a fun touch, but didn't seem that hot and also was a little soggy, which made me wonder how long it sat before they brought it. We wanted ketchup for the fries too, BTW, but the server never came back to check on us. My husband's NY sour was a little strange. We love different "takes" on classic cocktails, but this one just didn't work. The waitress seemed unsure as to whether they could make this drink, and maybe she was correct. 3.5 stars for cocktails/food. We will definitely come back. My hope is that the burger was just a one-time miss and that next time it will be perfect. We also want to try the smoked fish dip. Such a cool neighborhood spot!

When I walked in I, immediately, thought of Haven (RIP https://www.yelp.com/biz/haven-miami-beach-2). From the LED wall to the music to the drinks to the vibe... I didn't feel like I was in Nashville anymore. the back corner stands out and gives Middle Tennesseans something that's not readily available in this area. If you're in the mood for a little coastal cosmopolitanness (is that word? It's not a word), the back corner is about to be your new favorite place. The neighborhood gets things moving in the right direction. For as much as Germantown has (scenic streets, fancy high rises, coffee, good eats) it didn't have a nightlife destination. Putting one here makes a lot of sense. Building off the 5th & Taylor imprint, the back corner starts off fancy (but not pretentious) and builds to memorable. Upon entry, the first thing you notice is the LED wall and stage. With a changing display of electronic intoxication, you're drawn into a world far away from Lower Broad. If you can break your gaze away from the stage, you'll notice the upper and lower lounge seating. Intimate, cozy and a bit mysterious, the seating at the back corner lets you decide whether you want to be front & center or if you're rather sit back and take it all in. You can be as public or private as you'd like. If indoor seating isn't your thing, make your way outside to enjoy the fire pit and Germantown night sky. Just do us all a favor and refrain from smoking. Seeing cigarette butts along the patio or by (in??) the fire pit is not sexy and very off-brand. All the above said and noted, the back corner is not a huge space -- which is a plus and minus. It's a plus because it never becomes the cavernous mess of bass and desperation. The minus is crowds gonna crowd and with a lot of people, the space will be tight. I don't know how to fix that. I suppose a velvet rope and waitlist will keep crowds at bay but neither feels very Nashville. Hmm... Another minus (relating to the size) is that there's only one bar. One bar in a space this cool is a bit tight. I know the space behind the bar isn't huge but I would staff it with 3 bartenders at a time so as to keep up with the crowd. Because you're going to want to drink. A lot. The cocktail program at the back corner is a bit unusual for Nashville -- and very Miami. Expect rum, colors and a boozy punch. Actually, the menu could use a punch. Get on that, tbc. Re drink progression... start with the gimlet. It's pretty to look at and refreshing to drink. All the mixers, juices, etc. are made in house so you're getting quality fare. From there, hit the No. 4 and, then, the No. 2. If you're still upright, drink some water. Water? Who am I kidding? Cocktails! You're in Miami, [redacted]! Well, sorta. If you need some noshes, 5th & Taylor is serving up bites. Don't come here for dinner. Who eats food? Let the music and booze nourish your body. As perfect as the back corner is for DJ sets, live music (this *is* Nashville, after all) works as well. the back corner isn't the Downtown dance club people have wanted for a (looooong) while. But it is a welcome addition to the city's nightlife scene and, very possibly, you're new favorite place to go. Bienvenidos a Nashville.

Every dish felt thoughtfully put together, and a few really stood out. I've been on the hunt for more black sesame treats, and the raspberry sherbet with cremolata and salted black sesame seed butter was exactly what I was looking for--the most perfect, not-too-sweet dessert. Creative, balanced, and completely unforgettable. I'd go back just for that. The stracciatella on toast was another standout--simple but incredibly well executed. My second favorite dish was the lightly roasted snap pea with fennel, spring onion, and chili--fresh, vibrant, and packed with flavor. So good. The linguini and clams was decent, but didn't quite hit the same level as the other dishes. It leaned a bit too al dente for my taste, and the flavor felt a little on the bland side. The ambience is still nice, but we were seated so close to other tables it was a bit uncomfortable. The server was great (super sweet waitress) but the food was inconsistent. Even she seemed to be aware of this. Here's what we tried: Steak Tartare: 1/10 - Hated it. Worst steak tartare I've had. It tasted literally ONLY of capers and mustard. We couldn't even see the color of the meat. Even our waitress said it was so inconsistent and sometimes bad. Keep in mind they did comp this which was very nice of them. Whipped Ricotta: 9/10 - Okay this was AWESOME. The pita bread was soft, the ricotta was smooth and sweet, and all the toppings on it were just perfect pairings. Chefs kiss. White Bolognese: 5/10 - Pretty mid/bland. Just kind of tasted like pasta with Alfredo sauce and some meat. Eh. Truffle Fries: 5/10 - Standard fries. There is parmesan and truffle at the top but none on any of the middle or bottom fries, so you don't really want to keep eating them. Brussels: 8/10 - Lovely fry on these. They tasted very rich, but could've had more depth to them in my opinion. More crunch perhaps, or even a zingier sauce. Beef tenderloin: 7/10 - I mean it was good beef, but nothing special. The steak just kind of tasted like an average cut of beef. The au jus was good, though, along with the mashed potatoes. Chocolate cherry cake : 4/10 - They offered this to us for free for our anniversary, but I didn't love it. The chocolate flavor was super mild, and the cherry was kind of sickeningly artificial. Not for me. See what I mean now, by inconsistent?
