The major drawback of this location is that it cannot be easily accessed if heading south on State Street due to the medians in the road. A left turn at a light, followed by a U-Turn is required. In an area that is not flush with convenient stores, this makes the location, well, not very convenient during rush hour traffic. Coupled with the new traffic patterns on this section of State Street you could find yourself taking longer to get to a pump than it takes you to fill up and grab some beef jerky and a scratch off ticket. You can follow the road behind the Monroe in order to get southbound on State, again waiting at a congested light. The inside of the store is brightly lit and always well stocked. The outside area also includes an air compressor, which is free if you have a Duchess loyalty card.
