The salesman were all very pushy and grabbed my arm many times to pull me over to there stall and wouldn't let me go until I bought something which I felt forced to do for my safety. I would never come back again and I wasted 20 euros on the cab ride there. If you want to spend your money on junk that breaks within the first week then this would be a great place for you.

Fresh vegatables, fruits, and meats. Fresh milk and yogurt. Watch the prices though as you can pay too much at some of the little shops. My wife also bought a very nice blouse that was reasonably priced. The shopkeepers were all very friendly and willing to help. Our Italian speaking skills were rudimentary at best but that was not a problem Hope to come back here someday.

There are frequently special offers open to all customers. Bearing in mind this is a discount store, it doesn't have a full range of brands, and nor can you expect high quality options in all foodstuffs. For example, there's only one kind of cured ham, and it's not very good. A small bakery area offers fresh bread while the meat and fish is of the prepackaged variety and stored in a refrigerator. Overall, I go for the keen prices - when you know what you want and what you like, it's a perfectly acceptable store. Expect long queues at peak times and don't expect a full range of products, although the fresh produce department is surprisingly ample and they have a small but useful range of organic products.
