Tune Chiropractic is superior in nature because unlike the previous practice I used where chiropractic care was herd processing to get as many patients/customers in and out as possible in a day with no more than 10 minutes for doctor/patient encounter, the doctors here take their time to truly assess what is going on with not only the skeletal, but muscle group issues that surround and contribute to the problem that sent you seeking chiropractic care to begin with. Before my husband and I found Tune Chiropractic I had dealt with a hip injury for FOUR YEARS. I stopped yoga, couldn't lift weights/squat, had to be so careful on hikes. It was so annoying! I saw other chiropractors, multiple massage therapists, physical therapists and acupuncturists and no one could solve it. Dr Ryan was able to fix it completely within a handful of visits. I'm back to yoga multiple times a week, can hike with no issues and can squat and do lunges just fine. I've grown up being adjusted by chiropractors. My father, stepfather, uncle, and a few cousins are ALL chiropractors. I grew up working in my dad's chiropractic clinic and worked with many doctors. I always found excuses to have them all work on me because I mean, chiropractic care is the best. Let's be real. But over the years I really started to notice there was such a difference in technique from doctor to doctor. I've been really impressed by Dr Ryan's abilities as a chiropractor and body worker. He's not your typical snap-crackle-pop, see-ya-next-month chiropractor. He practice ART (Active Release Technique) which is a form of soft tissue release that is just truly any chiropractic manipulation's best friend. Dude is Legit! I went to 2 chiropractors before going to Dr Ryan. My experience at the one of the places was based on fear and me paying them a lot of money up front. The other was better but was a super rapid adjustment. Dr Ryan slows down and is very interested as to what is going on in your body and very knowledgeable. The journey to wellness can be so confusing, Dr Ryan explains directly what is going on - it is super useful. He helped me align my rear rib misalignment that had been ailing me for 12 years! We are now working on other problem areas and some of it involves a bit of scar muscle tissue, he is still helping me out even though it is seemingly outsid the scope! I started seeing Dr. Ryan Gessay because of an issue I was having with my upper back. I don't know how to describe what it was other than a huge, crunchy knot that extended from my neck down to my shoulder blade and was hurt more or less all the time. I had been to my primary care physician who thought it was from overuse. The occupational health therapy people at my work suggested physical therapy, which is the opposite of my what doctor had said. He said the muscles were more than strong enough, it was likely overuse that was causing my issues. Massage would help relieve the pain temporarily for 10-48 hours depending on various factors, but it would always come back. This all made sense since my work involves being in front of a computer most of the day. My health care plan didn't cover chiropractor visits, so I paid out of pocket hoping to find a more long term solution -it was well worth every penny. When I first met Ryan and explained what I was experiencing, he said he had seen this type of thing before and it would likely take 6-8 visits to treat effectively. Ideally, I'd come once per week for 6-8 weeks, but with my work schedule (I travel a lot) that wasn't possible. We were still able to treat the problem in about 6-8 visits, and it's so much better now compared to before I started seeing him I don't even know where to start. I had never been to a chiropractor before, so wasn't really sure what to expect. Ryan was very reassuring, explained all the theory behind what he was doing, and really treated the root cause of the problem. Essentially, my levator scapula muscle had become very knotted together, almost 'like a steel rope' as Ryan described it. He performed something called micro fascia release in order to break down the muscle and connective tissue and restore the muscle back to its proper working condition. In addition to this, he performed some adjustments on my back and neck. I highly, highly recommend Ryan and feel 110% better now than when I first came to his office. read more

Top notch in every way. TREATMENT: Ryan is an extremely talented chiropractor that has melded some eastern medicine, ART, and other goodies into his practice. I've been to 6 chiropractors in my life, most of which I visited for months on end. None have even come close to the care I get from Ryan. As someone else mentioned, his bedside mannor is simply the best. He tells you what's happening with your body and why he's doing the treatment he's doing (assuming you want to know as I always do). Though I didn't expect it, he noticed some points on my skull that indicated some systems in my body were off. He was DEAD ON accurate and helped to fix those problems in a single visit. On top of the above, he also remembered literally everything I told him about myself from the first visit and had thought of ways to help in the interim. Unbelievably customized care. OFFICE: Not the typical doctor's office waiting room by a long shot. There's essentially just a greeting area (beautifully appointed in wood that immediately makes you feel comfortable) and the treatment rooms. I have yet to run into another client while I've been in the office for treatment, and I must admit that I love that. Though, I would probably get along really well with his other clients as I'm sure he attracts some awesome people. PRICING: Very reasonable. He's also very flexible on billing and figuring out insurance hiccups. Couldn't ask for more from a provider. OVERALL: I can't say enough about Tune or about Ryan. What I can say is that I now have a marker by which I can gauge every other business I visit. I give Tune my absolutely highest rating. read more

Dr Gessay saved my life! He was the 4th chiropractor I saw when my back / neck went out. Even though I had become mobilized, I knew something was very wrong. I had fallen into a severe depression , I was exhausted all the time, unable to work or live my life. Dr Gessay was the first Dr to take imaging of my spine. There he saw that my cervical spine was still out at the axis, which was putting pressure on the main artery & impinging blood flow to my brain.
