Mikey took the time to sit down with us months before the event to really understand and absorb the vibe we were trying to capture and was in constant contact with us. His extensive music knowledge, along with his undeniable enthusiasm to make his clients' visions come to life, made the process such a pleasure. We had a blast and would leave every meeting/call feeling incredibly pumped. Not once were we ever worried about a thing. He created a stellar playlist that fit every part of the night and welcomed requests on the fly. He played every one of our requests and his transitions between tracks were seamless. He worked so well with the brass band that played for parts of the night and ensured that the music went from live band to DJ set without a single pause. He had an amazing attitude, was super cool and genuinely enjoyed DJing the party. This is not a DJ that just says "yes" and then ignores your preferences. He was able to respect our wishes while executing everything flawlessly with his own tasteful style. He can really read the room. Planning major events can be incredibly stressful so we highly recommend working with The BoomBox Brothers as they're trustworthy, passionate, organized and really know their stuff. KILLED IT! All our friends and family raved about the music and had the most amazing time. We can't thank them enough!

Beyond his undeniable talent, Manolo's presence on our wedding day made such a difference. He's calm, funny, and genuinely wonderful to have around. He comes prepared, yet is always ready to pivot in the moment. Before hiring him, my biggest fear was spending the entire day taking photos and missing out on enjoying my wedding, or not capturing everything I wanted. Neither happened. Manolo works efficiently and fiercely. He guides brides in the lead-up to the wedding, and on the day itself he's simply incredible. I would recommend Manolo without hesitation. He is the best photographer I know. His team was equally fantastic; professional, kind, and an absolute joy to work with.
