You can swim with dolphins, seals, boating, jet skis, beach. It's not a resort it's a recreation area with residences and hotels so you get a better Mexican experience! There are tons of restaurants from tacos, seafood, Italian, or bbq. It's not too expensive. It's a different kind of holiday, unlike going to an all inclusive, pigging out everyday and laying on the beach. There are actually locals as well which Go there. It's like you know your at a good Chinese restaurant when the locals go too! If you like more adventure, nature or just being active, Puerto Aventuras is a great option!

Though I'm an advanced open water diver with approximately 20 dives, I felt a refresher would be in order since my last dive was approximately five years ago. One of my buddies had not dove in a couple of decades. My other buddy had some dive experience, but had never been certified. Our instructor and Dive Master Alejandro was very personable and pleasant, yet serious about the safety of all the divers, not only in the outdoor classroom environment, but also in the boat, and then in the water. I'd like to add, that he is a very good and skilled instructor. Though I brought my own regulator and BCD, the crew prepared my equipment, as well as everybody else's provided equipment. The dives well, and afterwards Alejandro completed several items in my dive log. I take the safety in diving very seriously, and I would definitely come back to this crew. As far as some of the reviews on the provided meals, we had some choices, including some fresh hot pizza, which we took advantage of. The service also facilitated our transportation back to our resort, which was made super easy. I would certainly recommend this experience .

There was free parking before arriving but the small fee at Cancun Bay resort was WELL worth the hassle of parking further and walking. Juanito met us out front and escorted us to the check in desk. We showed out prepaid receipt but still had to pay the $15 per person marina fee (which was advised prior to arrival). We all received a sealed snorkeling snorkel and Jose passed out the Mask to all that needed. Jose and Juanito were super! While on the Jungle Tour one of our boats lost power after we arrived at our diving spot. Jose called for a replacement boat and they switched boats before we had finished snorkeling. It was a bummer at first but Jose handled very quickly. I would recommend this tour for families and first time snorkelers. You get about 45 minutes of snorkeling and about 45 minutes of a great boat Tour. Back at the Marina all employees had on mask, social distanced, hand sanitizer and the bathrooms (banos) were clean and in great shape!!! There was a bar and restaurant but we didn't patronize. They also have locked lockers to rent for a very small fee and there is a free area storage on each boat that will hold a standard tote bag.

We were there in the afternoon so most people were already out at sea. There was barely any other people at the marina and it was so nice & quiet which is always what I prefer. I recommend book a tour here whenever you visit Cancun. Caribbean Sea is so beautiful and snorkeling gets you to tour the reefs and tropical fish even underground museum. We rented two jet skis for one hour, with the clear understanding that each jet ski would be shared between two couples -- 30 minutes per couple, for a total of eight riders. This arrangement was explained in detail beforehand and the staffer agreed. However, the staffer unilaterally changed the plan and allowed only four guests to use the jet skis initially, disregarding what was previously agreed upon. When I pointed this out, the staff member reluctantly agreed to honor our original arrangement and suggested that they riders changed the agreement (false) but by then, we had already lost valuable time due to his misunderstanding. On top of that, our group spent 15 minutes completing paperwork, which delayed the actual start time to 4:15 PM, we arrived at 3:20 pm with enough time, even though the session was scheduled from 4:00 to 5:00 PM. Despite this delay being on their end, they did not extend our session to make up for the lost time. When I brought up the issue, the staff member was extremely rude, dismissive, and took no responsibility, instead blaming others for the confusion. The lack of professionalism and poor customer service left a very negative impression. This occurred on May 24, 2025 and unfortunately I didn't get the staffers name but he was small thin in stature male who was very rude and condescending. Who did not offer and apology nor any type of acknowledgment. My recommendation is look other places before booking here.
