It is very expensive as you pay about 20 euro's for a 15 to 20 minute ride. It is not very comfortable either. I also felt very sorry for the Burro's as some of them look like they are in bad shape or are not taken care of very well. Yes, it's a very unique way of getting around Mijas but I would not do it again.

It's very interesting walking up and down the narrow streets and seeing the all the white spanish buildings. There are a wide range of different venues from souvenir shops, to restaurants, to churches, to parks , museums. etc. If you are in the Malaga area of Spain, you must visit the Pueblo Village of Mijas, with the great walking paths and spectacular scenery, you will never forget your visit.

When looking at port from the city, we went left towards lighthouse. Mostly a flat ride. Many places along the way to stop and eat. The beaches are full of locals.
