Thomson has an updated list of current exchange rates, and wht other travel agents are charging and they will normally beat it if you ask.This is a Thomson travel agency within Tower Ramparts shopping centre in Ipswich town, on the first floor. The travel agency is always fairly quite so the staff are quick and eager to serve you when you walk in the door, if not a little to eager. There are plenty of travel brouchers to leaf through and get some good ideas from. I went in here with my dad when he was visiting from America and we went to change some of his cash, the staff member was very friendly and more then willing to help, whilst having a nice chat with him too. The only thing is I seem to get suckered into changing my money here because there is no queue and it is so quite, but if I was patient enough I would go next door to the post office wait in the queue and not pay any co-mission. read more
