I am so disappointed. I expected more from a company as reputable as this. I bought a basic 10x12 Tuff Shed in mid March. Had it installed April 1st (I know, foreshadowing, right?!?) Less than a month after installation, the problems have started. My door started sticking. There is a gap in the back where the light comes. And now, exactly one month after install, the door will not even close. AT ALL. I put everything in that shed, and now I can't even lock it. How can I feel safe, knowing I can't even lock up my shed at night? Knowing I can't even close the door? When I called for help, I got the run around. Speaks a great deal for the kindness of salesmen... their smiles stop the minute you sign across the dotted line and hand them their check. What did this slime ball say? He literally told me to go on Craigslist to find someone to fix it for me. Excuse me? Really? You don't warranty your work? Why did I go with a name brand then? But I digress... I then called customer service warranty department to see if they could help. They were nicer, at least. Assured me someone would be out to fix the problem. Funny thing is, that day came and went, and no one ever showed up. No one called. No one even rescheduled. Nothing. And now I just get a "leave a message after the tone" recording. I am beginning to wonder just how reputable this company really is. Tuff Shed, shame on you. You are swindling people out of their hard earned money, giving them the impression that you back up your work when you have no interest in doing anything but lining your own pockets. Home Depot, you should be ashamed of yourself, as well, doing business with sleazy company like this. With a company that went from excellent customer service to utilizing used car salesmen tactics for a quick sale. Figure this relationship with Tuff Shed out. Either have someone reputable you can shake hands with, or you're going to start losing a lot more business, and it won't be pretty. I'm just a single mom with an English degree. Sure, you're not losing a whole lot on me. I'll just go to Lowe's and be done with you. Or shop Amazon. Wait till one of those sleazy Tuff Shed salesmen ticks off a country boy with a barn to build and a hefty business account with you. I wonder if enough of those will change your mind? We were in search for a shed. We made a phone call to the league city location the rep Crystal gave us enough information over the phone with price and step by step procedure about installation. She is very knowledgeable about regulations in your area. We decided to stop by Tuff Shed in League City to meet Crystal. She was courteous and was aiming to get the right shed for us. I started with an on line shed build and estimate, my info was sent to Crystal Gill and everything has been smooth sailing ever since. Crystal was in contact with me several times and always was responsive and informative, she took care of everything. I would not recommend stuff shed period. Not just this location. We bought a shed that was $9000 and the install was done December 2018. Since day one we have had issues. EVERYTIME it rains it leaks around the door jam. So we have to watch the weather and if rain is in the forecast we have to tape up the seams. They came out put a small little shield on top of the door and it did nothing. We had some issues with the installer messing things up at the time of install one was the side walls had holes in them. Like if they put a nail through it and realized it was in the wrong place so they took the nail out and just left holes scattered around. Keep in mind these sheds are not built with Hardi board it's like a pressed wood something that would eventually need to be replaced. Now a spot that I pointed out at the time of install is peeling. Seems it is were the nail or screw is poked out a bit caused the siding to peel off. Since this is pressed wood it is not going to last long with the elements. I emailed the manager and was told he is no longer in the Houston area to contact the local tuff shed dealer. So we will see if they will fix this problem hopefully I can get in contact with someone tomorrow since Wednesday they are apparently closed. But I would suggest taking your money else where. We got a loan for this shed so we are still playing on a shed that leaks and now is peeling due to install negligence. Biggest mistake we have made with our money. read more

What a joke. Tried to buy a shed and got a big run around. Saw them displayed at Home Depot in Clearlake. Went inside to inquire and everyone looked at me as if I spoke a foreign language. Left the store with a pamphlet and was told to go on line and pick what I wanted. I did and returned with a shed picked and a few questions. Spending $4200.00 I wanted it right. Nope, couldn't help. I left again. I decided to call the company direct and I spoke to Tim. Very apologetic and said he could help. Told him I wanted the exact shed in the picture of his brochure. He did a quote and told me to take it to Home Depot and pay. Nope, they couldn't do that because Tim sent the quote to the wrong store. Called Tim, he said he would take care of it himself and I'd get a call around 2:00pm and I could pay over the phone. 4:00pm, no call. Called Tim and he said he'll do it immediately. He called right back to ask me design questions and I asked him why if he already sent me a quote. Found out that now he wanted more money because he did quote me like the picture. What a joke, go somewhere else unless you like being lied too and run around for two weeks. I'll go to Lowes. read more
