This store had some very beautiful pottery - vases, placques, jewelry, and much more. One of the artists was even working on a pot in a back corner. I talked to her a while about her pottery techniques and the meanings of the symbols on the various pieces. I was thrilled that she took the time to help me understand. We bought a piece from them. She explained what some of the symbols were and knew the artists. We could have spent several hours looking at all the pieces. When asked, I always recommend McGees. Especially for Hopi arts and items. It's a drive and worth every driving mile. For Navajo arts and items, I like the Cameron Trading Post because of the wide variety and it being so close to Flagstaff.
