T's Cafe is ok. Their food is pretty good, the service is just ok. I would go back and most certainly will. But I wouldn't bring out of town guests here. I wouldn't come here expecting a great experience. The Great - They have specials that are fun! (just make sure you look at the front, because a server isn't going to tell you about them.) The Good - Plentiful Coffee The Bad - Service is good enough, just not very friendly or attentive The Ugly - The restrooms are pretty gross. Not waste everywhere, but no one is cleaning the the baseboards, walls or floor I don't think. T's is a nice place to go if your in the area. Sit outside, enjoy the sites, expect decent food, but don't expect much more.

Friendly service, yummy food, ample amount of indoor/outdoor seating. We sat at the bar (there was a 10 minute wait for a table) which was perfect. The bartender/server Uzbek was attentive, helpful and friendly. We put in our orders fairly quick, but they did take a while to come out- id say 20-30 min. Both dishes were yummy, except for my biscuits - they felt overdone and hard, not that edible. The coffee was good and so was the OJ. *on a Sunday, they were pretty slow until about 10:30 - that's when we saw a line start to form :) Enjoy!

Was deciding between this and another place. Ended up going here, based on the menu. Arrived a little after opening. Similar to another review, I was standing at the host area for a few minutes. I think one gentleman was handling everything until I left when another server came in. I got seated in a booth. The sun initially was a little bothersome, as it was right in the eyes. But, it adjusted enough. I went with the T's Country Benny (country fried steak), which came on a biscuit and not an english m7ffin. This was excellent! The breading on the steak was crispy and flavored well. Tender, too. The biscuits were soft and did a great job at soaking up the egg yolk and gravy. The gravy had an excellent flavor, as well. I got a side of hashbrowns. These were your typical hashbrowns. Cooked perfectly. Coffee was OK, too. I was a satisfied diner.

Cute little cafe right by the beach and lots of outdoor and indoor seating. We only waited about 15 minutes to get seated outside (no wait for inside) and ordered a caramel iced coffee, OJ, and Bloody Mary to drink while we waited for the food to come out. Service was very sweet and all the food we saw coming out, especially the sandwiches and French toast, looked SO GOOD and also huge! I got their seasonal special carnitas benny which was packed full of flavor and my friend got a more traditional breakfast with the fluffiest pancakes. Prices were also not bad for a restaurant by the water. So happy to have found a great brunch spot next time I'm in Solana beach.

At T cafe .... Waiting patiently for food.

While the servers are all friendly the service is a little slow. The food was good but not great. My wife got a poached egg that was solid so overcooked. I had the huevos rancheros and the ranchero sauce was mainly just chunky tomatoes. My son had a breakfast burrito that he enjoyed. .

Omelet Yum!

Party of 20? No problem, right this way to an amazing table! Amazing service, killer brekkies, Bloody Mary's to die for - man, it's ALL here. The Benedict's, the omelets, the coffee, the hash browns - all served up hot with a smile! Get here before 10am Sunday to beat the rush!

There's free parking in the back and street parking in the front. This place is known for their breakfast but their other items are just as good. We recently found out the Chicken Fettuccine Al Pesto is the owners Italian mother's recipe. My youngest son enjoys getting this dish. My favorite breakfast dishes are the chicken and waffle, country fried steak and french toasts. They perfectly bread the chicken and the homemade country gravy it adds that extra goodness to the meal. I also love their fresh-pressed juices, and I usually request a plantation iced tea -- iced tea mixed with pineapple juice. So refreshing! The decor is adorable too. It has a cozy farmhouse café vibe that makes the whole place feel warm and inviting. And the bread pudding from Sunny Side is definitely worth mentioning. I usually don't like bread pudding, but this is far from ordinary. It's made with croissants and chocolate, drizzled with chocolate sauce, dusted with powdered sugar, served with raspberries, and strawberries. You have to add the ice cream...cause why not? Absolutely indulgent and perfect for sharing. Totally worth those extra calories! Overall, we'll definitely keep dining here. Great service, delicious food, and so many good family memories every time we visit!

Beware they landed on our plates, so maybe ask to sit away from the door. - They let big dogs on the front patio next to the entrance door. Of course with my luck, this dog starts shaking its fur and wagging its tail and ya fur flew all over the place and on my plate. Between the fly and fur fiasco, we're taking a break from this spot. -- And to the owners response below: We did find another restaurant with no flies or friendly dog hair in our food **besitos** ;)

Located just blocks away from the water and situated with an amazing view, Naked Cafe has nothing to hide but this hidden gem is off the well traveled highway 101 serving patrons inside and outside of their cozy bungalow-styled establishment. As you arrive (for many by foot), consider seating yourself at one of the many umbrella-shaded tables or venture inside to grab a seat. I saw a few folks with dogs so if you plan to come with your furry friend, the place seems to be well suited for them. For those looking to order takeout, simply walk up to the register and the staff will get you started. Their menu includes a variety of options like wraps, burritos, salads, bowls, tacos, pancakes, and other brunch-like items. Their drink menu is also extensive including alcohol like wines, mimosa and beer as well as coffees, teas and smoothies. You're bound to find something fitting that craving of yours or satisfying the nutrients needed for energizing your metabolism. I ended up ordering the pesto chicken wrap that also came with a side of chips. The wrap was loaded with succulent pieces of chicken and was very flavorful. The whole grain tortilla held up well throughout the meal and had good texture with each bite. The chips that came along were decent - had good crunch but lacked any kind of flavor. Fortunately the salsa came in clutch to kick things up a notch. The portions were also better than I had expected. The staff were friendly, efficient in placing our order and packaging it up, and thorough in fulfilling the order by including utensils and napkins as they handed the order to us. For takeout orders, they had given us an approximate wait time of 15 minutes and it was quite accurate. There wasn't much space to wait near the register so we ended up waiting near the front entrance near the sidewalk but after the 15 minutes, we made our way back to see that our order was in the process of getting packed up. Overall, Naked Cafe is a great spot to grab a light meal or lunch while soaking in so rays. With its open seating area covered only by the umbrellas at each table, you'll bask in the open air while consuming delicious plates made to order with fresh ingredients and healthy and sustainable options. For those with strict diets, you might want to seek this place out and see for yourself. The menu is anything but bare at Naked Cafe!

(editing to add this is a French-owned and Black-owned business, in case folks are looking!)…read more I usually come here when I'm doing errands on Cedros - and I usually just want to get my français on and order a café crème and a croissant. But today I needed a little extra je ne sais quoi because my morning was annoying, so I decided to splurge on lunch and not just a pastry here. I asked Steve, the (très beau et gentille!) co-owner what the quiche of the day was. There were two: one with jambon (ham) and one with épinards et fromage de chèvre (spinach and goat cheese). When I hesitated, he told me that the spinach one was amazing. Even though it's $20 for a quiche plate, I decided to go for it. I thought I was going to get a sad little quiche slice for that amount and might regret it. But OMG, it was more than worth it! Already they have a lovely patio on this pretty street in this fancy design district. But it was also a HUGE and exceptionally savory rectangular slice, alongside a DELECTEABLE petite salade. I asked Steve what mustard they use in the vinaigrette, and he said plain old Dijon - but the proportions and the seasoning were EXCELLENT. So it was salad perfection, not heavily dressed at all, just delightful. The patio was full on a Friday with ladies who lunch - but did that include me, as a solo diner, since I am a lady who had lunch? I'm not sure, but you can feel comfortable here no matter what. And now I know Madeleine Cafe is much too good to just come for coffee and for ordering in French from Steve or his co-owner Emmanuel. I don't want to spend that much for lunch every day - but I'll be back!
