A really old School gym, mostly equiped with Gym2000 machines, and free weights! Nothing fashionable with this place, and the changingrooom is best to do without; but if the workout is more important to you than the interior details, this place is to be recommended!! A nice drop in place for my work out when on the cabbin; 50NOK for 24h access! read more

During our Norther European vacation, we came to Full On to do white water rafting and canyoning…read more The staff was very friendly and welcoming, even offering us tea and coffee before and after our excursions. They provided all of the gear we needed for each activity, so we just had to bring a change of clothes. The guides were confident and helpful when describing the activities and safety procedures. They also provided lots of great photos from the activities which captured just how fun it was. The white water rafting (classic version) was a blast. The river we went on had several intense rapids and provided a spectacular view of that area of Norway. Before getting to the last and biggest rapid, the guides pulled the boat over and allowed our group to look at the rapid to decide if we felt comfortable going down it, which we did and it was insane! The canyoning (extreme version) was intense! The trip included repelling down several waterfalls, various natural rock slides, pools, climbing over tons of rocks and much more. The guides did a great job of explaining each part of the activity and keeping us safe. I'll admit, the first waterfall we repelled down was very high and I had a mild panic attack about half way down it. The guides repelled with me down the next few waterfalls and motivated me which helped me feel safe and secure. Since it lasted almost 6 hours, they gave us a snack midway and a warm campfire to roast hot dogs over at the end. I can't say enough about this company and their guides. I highly recommend a visit if you're in the Geilo area. It's well worth it!

I like this one, not being one of the highest peaks (only raging 800masl), but with easy access from our cabbin. A very steap hike causing you to use more time on this one than expected from the distance. But the view from the top is wonderful and probably surprices you as this is not the highest mountains to climb in this area. Information sign's along the path gives you insight to the old history of this place! Bring your coffee and enjoy the view

Stavkroa is one of the most famous afterskis in the world and definitely I can say it is totally worth the 3 hours of queuing! Yes you heard it right! 3 hours being in a queue, but I would have done it again if needed! On the plus side the queue was in another bar so while waiting one could dance, go to the toilet or drink beer. And the music was good! So to avoid that, the smart option is to buy tickets before going there. Then you can enter very easily. However if you want to get in for free there is a price to pay. The queue is very long and you need to get a bit rude and push people, otherwise you will never get in! When you are close to getting in you just get pushed and squeezed between everyone. But again, it's worth it. There are several floors of bars. The very downstairs is like a pub, not crowded and very calm. The queue floor is the one you arrive to which is quite large and has good danceable music. The actual club though is not comparable to the other floors. People dance on tables, there are professional women dancers on the top, the music is perfect for a crazy dancing night, the people are happy and wear their ski cool outfits and beer is been thrown on everyone when the night gets older. So tips: buy tickets before hand. Put your jacket and anything you can get rid of from your outfit to the garderobe. It's crazy warm in the club and quite dirty/sweaty after a point so no need to look fancy. Take your best moves and enjoy!
