Taste was really mediocre. All appetizers offered were NOT complimentary (even though the wait for our entrée was around 20 minutes. Bread/olives/pâtés/butter were €1 - €2each!!!! Beware... it is unlike the North American style of freebie breads/butter. They will ask you without telling you that they are complimentary. Water included. We thought that they will be free! Good thing that tipping in Europe is unheard of and completely optional! This restaurant is in Batalha, Portugal. We stayed in the hotel (History Hotel) and it was classy, clean and modern.

The rooms were recently updated with nice wood paneling and new carpets. There was a nice man at the desk who spoke great English too. I highly recommend this spot. Not too much going on in Batalha, but a nice stopover nonetheless.
