TC was incredible and found us an amazing nanny who was with us until my son started preschool. When the pandemic hit, TC was able to reconnect us with our nanny who continued educational activities, facilitated my son connecting with his preschool over Zoom and helped us create structure during an uncertain time. This company is a joke, not premier. They say they are premier and charge a lot of money but there isn't much that is premier about them. Their customer service is subpar, not premier. Their "nannies" are just babysitters and many of them don't have much real world knowledge about kids or how to actually work with children. Again not premier. The owners and managers can be unprofessional and immature and this attitude permeates the entire company. Again that is not premier. Most of their babysitters were young without much experience, some were just flat incompetent, others were rude...etc. there were only a couple of ladies who did a good job like you'd expect from a nanny. If the kids argued, a lot of the babysitters just stood there or complained. They didn't know how to handle the situation. But siblings fight. Shouldn't the babysitter know how to handle that? Also if your child is a bit different, you will be judged for it, so be ready for that. Kids aren't the same, they are different, but this company and their employees don't seem to understand that. If you use them just once or twice you'll be fine. If you use them regularly or longer term you will have problems with this company and their employees. If we ever brought up concerns with them, the owners/ managers disregarded our issues and took no accountability for anything. Communication from them was very poor. Overall we had a very negative experience with this company and there is no way we can recommend them to take care of children. They claim to be premier but they really aren't. They just think they are and charge a lot of money for subpar services. read more

I used Trusting Connections by way of the Raytheon Back Up Care Advantage benefit. I needed last minute care for my sons, a 6 month old and a 3 year old. I have so far had 3 different in home nannies through this service and have been nothing but pleased. Each nanny has been prompt and attentive to the boys and there is only peace and quiet when I arrive home. Which if you have been around 2 young boys will know can be a rarity. I'm having to remove my original review because I claim that there was animal abuse and criminal negligence. Apparently I'm not allowed to have that opinion. But you all know how we feel. The cease and desist letter also names the "nannies" which we never did because obviously they just weren't trained to care for animals or had the help from their Superiors when they needed it. Trusting connections should have followed through instead of turning around and making excuses why they would no longer clean our carpets and furniture. Having used services similar to this before, I can tell you that it this is, hands down, the best nanny service I have ever used. As with any quality business, especially that concerned with customer service, you really see their worth over time. Every single nanny we've used, whether it be for an evening out or for a weekend, has been wonderful. Every single one! Our kids love to play outdoors and are very energetic. Trusting Connections matches their energy every single time. The nannies they choose are both smart and responsible. They take their job very seriously and will follow directions to a "T." Trusting Connections is an amazing nanny agency. We have used several of their nannies and have been very pleased with all of them. Each nanny was extremely professional and wonderful with both of our small children. They went above and beyond the call of duty. The attention to detail was great. All the nannies were very approachable and complied with all of my requests. I can be quite picky with certain aspects in my home, but each nanny was more than willing to complete requests my way. If I had any questions the owners returned my phone calls almost immediately. The customer service is stellar when compared to any other agency. They were even great when I had an emergency and needed someone to watch my children ASAP. I will never use another agency again. I'm glad that the owners started this company up as we can use this service, however it's overall an ok and average experience-- definitely not "premier." Pros: They are usually (though not always) able to find nannies on short notice which is very helpful. The office staff is helpful, polite, and professional. Cons: Very expensive! Unfortunately I found the nannies to be average-- not "premier." One nanny didn't change my baby's soiled diaper at all. Another nanny left early without asking me if it was ok. Yet another nanny talked to me about her problems and may have taken something from my house. (I'm not accusing her of stealing as I have no proof, just stating that she *may* have taken something from my house because the item disappeared after she was in my home.) Overall it's okay but not the kind of experience you'd expect from a "premier" agency. I wouldn't mind hiring them if I was in a bind but I've found better nannies through the other company in town. read more

Right up front let me say that I have not actually hired this company. I (excitedly) spent some time talking to them to discuss their offerings and I was left completely put off. They do have one thing going for them; they have a pretty website. After that, things get shady. My wife and I went looking for an in-home sitter option about a year ago and I kept records. At the time we opted against a babysitter service. Now our world is different and we again need to consider this option. A year ago TC was charging $12 an hour for babysitting. A year later it is $18.50 an hour. I don't know what justifies a 50% increase in price... (because it sure isn't 'market conditions, tax increases, and insurance' like the girl from Huston told me on the phone)... but I don't really care. They can charge whatever they want as long as people will pay it. What bothers me is that they refuse to guarantee a price for the length of the contract, or offer a prorated return on the initial investment if they choose to change the deal. They don't seem to have their clients best interest at heart in their dealings. Contracts work two ways; one part protects the business, and part protects the client. These people missed the memo. If they follow their current pattern, next year their babysitting will be almost $28.00 an hour and anyone who signed up now be stiffed for the sign up fee if they don't want to pay for the service. Can't happen? Too expensive? That's what I would have said a year ago too! From a business standpoint, over the last year these people have a history of wild price increases (far outside the average for businesses in Arizona) and their contracts appear completely one sided. Be careful hiring a company that refuses to give you honest numbers up front about how much things will cost. It doesn't matter if it's a mechanic, loan company, or nanny service. read more

The nannies they hire are nice, but I had some issues with the owner. There was a misunderstanding about the the price and the amount of time the nanny spent at our house, which could have been quickly and easily resolved, but instead of discussing the situation with me, the owner sent a scathing e-mail attacking my character. There were "you" statements made, and I was made to feel attacked to the point of being unable to sleep the night I received the e-mail, and was physically sick about it the next day. Of course I responded to the e-mail explaining how I felt, but there was no attempt to make the situation right and certainly no apology. Additionally, I have issues with the way that Trusting Connections does their scheduling. If you e-mail them requesting a nanny, you could be waiting days before they give you any acknowledgement that they received the e-mail. This gave me some anxiety, as I would have liked to have reassurance that there would be a nanny at my house as I have no family in town, and no back up plan if their service fell through. I did call several times to make sure that my message was received, but was rather condescendingly informed that they would be getting an e-mail out to me, which I felt was a little uncalled for given my circumstances. All in all, my child did like the nannies that Trusting Connections hires, but I would skip the drama and go with another service. read more

I didn't want to do such a negative review but I felt the need to. A friend had told me about an agency she went to and loved it so I googled nanny agency and found Trusting Connections. It went well but as soon as I hadn't heard back from the company in 5 days I decided to see if there was another company who could promptly assist me. I did and the other company is great. TC emailed back and forth with me about how unsatisfied I was and not once was any sort of empathy shown. I understand there is a no refund policy but when there is a time crunch and you didn't live up to your end of the bargain, some sort of refund should be given. It was a cold no so I just moved on. I did try to talk another girl with the agency but I have so many other things to do and she could have easily emailed back. She did call me and I did speak to her briefly. It didn't make sense for me to give this company any extra minute of my time since all our communication was done through email and I felt there weren't willing to do anything to make the situation better. It would have been nice to get an I'm sorry at least from the original girl. Oh well. Choice Options is great and they helped me find the perfect nanny for my family's crazy schedule! read more

Other parents encouraged me to write this review so that I could save people some $ and possible frustration. The owners bill this company as "Tucson's premier nanny service", and charge prices in line. The Flex service ($16/h after a $180/6 mo membership was purchased) was a hassle and generally ranked well below the quality of sitters I have hired from other online services or through friends' recommendations ($10/h on average). The first nanny that TC sent (for two children less than 2 years old) didn't change diapers (both children were wet and one soiled for hours) and she disregarded our written instructions for no screen time. Another nanny requested physical intimacy in exchange for a child's request for food (I work from home and overheard this), and also disregarded our written instructions for no screen time. When I contacted the agency, I received emails back from the owners that were condescending, attacked my character, and dismissive of my concerns -- the nanny was just "being playful" holding food over my child; personal photos on a cell phone did not count as screen time; if only I had given more feedback their nannies could have done better. This last comment was in stark contrast to the "Laminated Family Profile Sheet" that the owner does a home interview with you about, that I thoroughly filled out with our family's wishes and then explicitly showed to each sitter. TC says this sheet is meant "to keep in your home so you don't have to spend time communicating care instructions...and other pertinent information with each nanny..." Sounds great, like so much of what TC offers, but if your wishes (or basic respect or sanitation!) are not minded, and the owners justify or excuse these behaviors, why pay such a premium for this service? read more

The best nanny service I have ever used! They have an amazing ability to attract the best nannies out there! If you have not tired Trusting Connections, you are seriously missing out. I have tried to find care for my daughter in a few different places...until I found Trusting Connections. I have called a week in advance, and an hour in advance, to book a nanny and have not been able to trip them up yet! They always find a way to get me the help I need for my family. We have used this service for about six months now and stuck with it in hopes that things would get better. After all, we had already paid the annual fee that they charge up front. They have sent us over a dozen sitters in just a few months. We have a young child and were uncomfortable with having different caregivers all the time. We were concerned this could happen and asked about it before we joined the service. We were assured that if we had a consistent schedule they would send us the same person with some exceptions (nannies take time off, quit, etc). We understood this but we have been getting a new nanny every other week. One nanny couldn't soothe our son and we came home early because he was so upset. Another nanny couldn't get our son to eat. I have taken to hiding the remotes so the nannies won't use the tv to entertain our child. I think this service could be useful in emergencies. For example, your regular babysitter can't make it and you have to go to work. I wouldn't recommend them at all for regular childcare since the quality of care is so inconsistent, the nannies disregard your instructions, and the owners are dismissive when you bring concerns to their attention. read more

Trusting Connections provided 8 nannies to keep the children entertained at the 350-person wedding of our son and daughter-in-law on April 1. There were 45 children there, 20 of whom were under the age of 3! Rosalind helped us plan everything out, including providing age-appropriate crafts and activities for the children, with stations according to age groups. The parents and the children all had a wonderful time, and it was a joyful event that kept the children happy and integrated in an easy way without sacrificing sophistication for the adults. The nannies who came to the event never stopped working and conveyed a warm and fun attitude to all of the guests. There is no way we could have pulled off a wedding with this many kids in a way that maintained a great environment for both kids and adults without Trusting Connections! read more

Trusting connections is an awesome service to take the guesswork out of finding someone to take care of your child. They do an excellent job of finding awesome and reliable nannies and we have loved every nanny we have been provided with. I have always felt my child is safe with the nanny they send and they do a great job of using the same two nannies for our ever changing schedule. My child is always happy and I feel the nanny is a continuation of care my child adjusts to without issue.
