This is in response to the previous review by Joy. I did go on vacation to a Family Reunion that had been planned for over a year. I had a local title attorney close the transaction while I was gone. BEWARE! I wish I could give ZERO stars for this terrible company. The owner insisted on closing our home purchase because she was friends with our sellers. HUGE MISTAKE! This woman was going on vacation during the time we needed to close, but she INSISTED that we had to work around her schedule-- not meet the terms of the real estate contract. She does not have any professional license we could find, but seemed to be working under her deceased father's license. The address of this business is very misleading because when we went there to confirm our closing date-- the office was a hoarder's or homeless person's flop spot! The owner actually works out of another office. She never had us complete any pre-closing paperwork so my name was listed incorrectly on our deed, the checks for closing were not immediately dispersed causing issues with our home warranty, on and on. What should have been a happy occasion was a nightmare in large part due to the complete lack of professionalism demonstrated by Trumbull County Abstract. read more

Leanna D.'s response to my spouse Joy is ridiculous. This company is a complete joke run by incompetent individuals who I threatened to sue on several occasions throughout our closing. Joy was "demanding"? Leanna didn't do anything on time after insisting that she be the one to do the closing and she knew the date was during a time in which she was out of town. Even our home warranty company canceled our policy because they hadn't received payment from this fraudulent title company. They never asked us how we needed our names on our deed, so this title company sent us a copy with whiteout on it to correct a mistake in one of our names. At the closing, I had to run out to our car because I left my SS card. When I returned the door was locked and this title company's attorney, who was doing the closing, refused to come downstairs and open the door for me and told Joy "it's not my building". These people are the absolute worse. I filed a complaint with the OH Department of Insurance due to their incompetence and complete nastiness and unprofessionalism. Leanna insisted on doing our closing because she was a friend of the sellers which we should never have allowed as buyers. These are awful people and the absolute worse I've ever encountered in Warren. The title company is supposed to be the easiest part of a closing, but these folks made it horrible. In addition to refusing to open the door for me, the same attorney that Leanna mentioned also refused to reply to any of my emails prior, even to confirm the date and time, despite my loan officer telling him to reply and include me on email messages on two occasions. Do not EVER use this company. I even told my loan officer that if they ever work with any other client who has Trumbull County Abstract listed for closing to please encourage them to RUN and choose a different company. read more
