You the man Tito!!! From the stories I had with Juan - love the vibe and - please community - ignore the religious aspect, but focus on the themes This is a christian - themed barber shop. Personable, felt like real talk, not any of that fake stuff you see in other neighborhoods. My haircut is weird to cut and Juan made me feel right at home, took accountability that it was too short - even though Iinsisted it's hard to cut my hair. Next time he'll have it perfect it's been 2 days and it already looks great. #Respect Let's all get along people. Don't judge. I came in and only positive vibes the entire time read more

Joey did an amazing job when I asked for a new style. Very clear in what he planned, why it fit my head's shape, and checking in throughout to see how I was liking the transformation. Great! read more

I found Truglory after a different barber shop screwed up my haircut. It was always great coming in and the inside is very inviting unlike the others where you feel intimidated to walking in. Tone always got me right and including the times with Isaiah. It sucks that I don't go anymore as this was the best barber shop I know but the commute was too long and my schedule got crazier :/ If you need barbers that can actually get you right and KNOW how to do good fades and modern cuts then I highly recommend you go here!! read more

I had been going to this place for a few years. At first it was on Anderson Ave here in NJ. Then it moved. The first person who ever trimmed my hair passed away at a young age. Then they kept rotating the individuals who could cut. Then they moved to a new spot. With this I made an appointment for a cut. I did it online as they requested. Then it changed Three times. And always with a new time, a new person available. This time they changed it before I am leaving to Europe for a wedding. I gave up. I cancelled TRUGLORY®. I found someone else. Better. Cheaper. And there in his own shop for over 30 years. Maybe TRUGLORY will have an epiphany. read more

This is my new go to spot for haircuts. I was going to a few different places before a friend of mine recommended TRU GLORY. I've gotten my hair cut and beard trim by Tito, Manny, and Rob. Each of them did a great job and it turned out exactly the way I wanted. They have an easy online booking system through the app Booksy. Im sure there are other ways to book, but I've always used the app. They are falling all Covid related protocols and the shop is always clean. The prices are fair, and everyone is always friendly. There is definitely a welcoming and friendly atmosphere in this place. I won't be getting my haircut anywhere else! read more

I come here for one thing, a job well done! Isaiah takes care of me every time I need my beard shaped and cleaned up. His precision and skill gives me the ultimate confident look. I have thick dark hair so I can be a burden on some barbers, but Isaiah has no problems working through my beard to make it look awesome. Don't be afraid to try any other guys here, they all do a great job. I've seen the results of many that walk in there for a cut or lineup. FYI: Make an appointment either on Yelp or Booksy. It does crowd up on the weekends. read more

Worst haircut of my life!!! Place is a mess. Fourth time there; twice my hairdresser had an emergency and canceled the same days. Looks like a lot of emergencies. Either my hairdresser from today was drunk or he didn't know what he was doing!!!! He also took my mask off without saying something to me and put it to the side. I told him I prefer to wear it. Seriously, avoid this place. Yes, the owner called me after my posting, I was not rude. I was being attacked on the call from him. I simply stated the fact that out of 4 appointments, 2 were canceled due to emergency. He owner seems to be hung up on that issue but not about the terrible haircut I got, not the fact that the stylist took my mask completely off my face without asking. If the mask needs to be removed one side at the time for cutting around the ears, I understand but don't take the complete mask off my face and put it to the side! I do feel for the owner, it is his business and he put money into it. I would suggest to really take my review to improve the loose ends and I am sure the salon will be fine. read more

Truglory, I have been cutting my hair here for more then 2 years now , and I must say it's one of the best barbershop. Every single barber has there own unique style for everyone. I highly recommend this place, not only will you receive a dope haircut , but you will walk out with something much more ! read more

I started getting my haircuts at Truglory Barbershop about 6 years ago, recommended by my brother. Best decision I've ever made, I've had my hair cut by pretty much every barber, the owner Tito is currently my main barber not once did I ever leave disappointed and that goes for all the barbers. Making an appointment is super convenient, there is no such thing as waiting 30 mins or more like other Barbershops. Also, if your not sure exactly what kind of cut you want or need, these professionals help you out with recommendations and always comes out superb. The environment is very welcoming, the music is always on point, and you just can't go wrong coming to get your cuts here, it's a must! read more

Truglory is THE best barbershop in New Jersey. Everyone at this shop is an expert, and it's rare to see a shop have such a high concentration of all-star barbers in one spot. My go-to barber is Manny, a true craftsman. Every week I'm in and out in about 15 minutes and the skill of the cut and attention to detail is unmatched - truly amazing. Seriously, if you think you've gotten a fade in the past, come to Truglory and you'll be witness to a whole new level of professionalism. Another great thing is you can book your appointments via the Booksy app, it's extremely convenient and saves a ton of time. Final thoughts? Visit here once, and I guarantee you won't want to go anywhere else. Period. read more

I take my son here for a haircut when his usual barber is out or out of desperation. I really want to love this place but I'm just not there yet, reason why we hop around to different shops. My ratings are from 1-10. 1 being the lowest, 10 the highest. Service and staff: 8- It's a barber shop. Appointments are honored timely and the cuts are quick. Upon arrival you get the usual "Hi, do you have an appointment. They will be right with you." If the woman is greeting you'll get a friendly welcoming smile. If it's just guys than it's pretty much the standard "who are you here for" look. The barbers are NOT rude, so that's a plus, but none of them are very personable either. But that's my experience. Cut: 8- Agg this is a tough one for me. The cuts are legitimately good. They fixed my son's hair line one time when a barber jacked it up. He likes to get skin tight fades that are tight because his hair grows so fast. One time they tightened it right but another time they didn't listen and his hair grew back in a week. For the price, if the customer ask for a tightened fade, make it tight please! Which brings me to pricing, it's overpriced. We can get the same cut in the Bronx for less but paying the toll and gas over the bridge will just bring us back to paying $35 for a skin tight fade. However, I did read on their website that they give free haircuts to the homeless or ppl in need, which I fully support. So I don't mind paying the price since it supports their mission and small business. I desperately wish Yelp had emojis. Pandemic precautions: 10- chairs are sanitized after every customer. Barbers and staff all wear mask and gloves. Temperature check and hand sanitizer is given upon arrival. Chairs are feet apart. Overall, I rated this barber shop a 4, mainly because I support their mission on helping those in need and the decent hair cut my son receives. I'm not committed yet, Manny was my sons barber but while booking my sons next appt. I believe he is no longer there. I recommend trying this place, for your own experience. The place is clean and very well maintained. No one is rude and they will do their best to accommodate in giving you a great haircut. Eat and live well! PS: I May change my rating depending on how the new barber, I just booked, will cut my son's hair. Pics to follow. read more

I've been coming to TG for almost a decade and I love this shop. Every barber is friendly, experienced, and great at their craft. My barber is so good I've upgraded to standing weekly appointments. Always a fresh cut, great conversation and environment. Thanks TG! read more

I'm a picky guy.  Sometimes too picky.  So picky, when I moved to Jersey, I used to drive from NJ to Queens just to cut my hair. Tito @ Truglory fixed this. There is a reason I've been religiously cutting my hair here for the past 10 years. Tito understands the concept of customer service.   He understands what it takes to keep clients happy.  The quality of my cut results are  premium.. every time.  Tito learns what you want and learns quickly.   He is fantastic with kids, as well. Try this place first if you're on the hunt for a cut.  Go with confidence and patronize!! Truglory defines the haircut experience! read more

TRUGLORY - 4 days post cut - Barbers Near Me - Ridgefield , New Jersey

I went here a couple weeks ago, not the best. The fade was sloppy and he didn't even know what a tapered hairline was. I asked for a high taper all around but he messed up and ended up giving me a sky top. Mediocre to terrible, not worth the money read more

I've been coming to TG hair studios longer than any other barber shop I've gone to. Most places are too loud, barbers are talking to much in your ear, and there's always something wrong with the way your hair turn out. Not this place, you walk in, you sit in someone's chair, and even if you don't know what kind of cut you want, they'll help guide you in the right direction. I would highly recommend my barber, but he's so good I don't want him to be overbooked. Besides the professional barbers, they keep the shop clean and organized. Make an appointment online or through the phone and they won't lose your appointment. If the off chance they're busy? They'll let you know and work with you to reschedule a time. Walk in and you'll know what I'm talking about. P.S. My barber is Gio read more

So today this happened! MY SON GOT HIS FIRST HAIRCUT! I'm so thankful to Tito! I know your hands are truly blessed by God. Not only is Tito an amazing barber but it was really important to me that my sons first cut was done by a Christian. Thank you for coming to our home to cut my sons hair. This was an amazing experience. You truly made us and my son feel comfortable. You also were understanding of our very busy schedule and accommodated to our timing! I'm so happy with the outcome! Been living in NYC since I last visited but Tito is still the best in the area for fades & short haircuts

I walked in and did not have to wait at all. Edgar crushed it for me. He did a great job in understanding what I was looking for, demonstrated a lot of patience. He was not in a rush and took almost an hour to cut my hair. When I asked for some minor adjustments at the end, he was very happy to oblige. The shop has great ambience and plays solid tunes. Five stars for the service and the price for the experience. I plan to go once every few weeks. read more

I stumbled upon this barbershop after countless hours of going back and forth on yelp. And boy am I glad I did! There are three things that make up a good barbershop. 1. The barber(s) - Tito and team are skilled, listens to what you want, makes recommendations based on your head shape(if you ask for it) and doesn't rush your cut to get you out the door. They truly care about your satisfaction. 2. The environment - Clean, welcoming and modern minimalistic design. 3. Cost - $15 for a taper/fade and/or scissor trim!(Most places charge $5 extra for scissor work). On Tuesday's, they have a $10 haircut special!!!!! That is unheard of!!!!! Side note: (Please don't forget to tip) I would highly suggest giving this place a try if you are looking for a good quality haircut in a friendly environment! read more

Been taking our kids here for half a year now, and so glad we found this place. We were not having any luck finding a decent place for some time (went to various barber shops in NJ and NY) and by luck stumbled upon this establishment. Steve really takes his time cutting each of the boys haircuts and he is very patient with fidgety boys which is a huge plus. We constantly get compliments from strangers and people asking where we go for their cuts. So happy we found this gem in our area! read more

I cannot speak more highly of Tito and how he helped me out last minute with a haircut. I had been searching for days for someone to give me a cut before I left on a trip to London. I work in BK but live in North Bergen - most shops are closed by the time I get home. I was about to try a BK "hipster" shop but TG came up in my google search and I saw that the owner, Tito, did house calls. I've never thought i'd be one to get such a service, but Tito was very polite, arranged a time, and was extremely punctual. He came to my apartment and instantly knew what I needed done, gave me a cut that my wife instantly loved (that's huge!). I can't say enough good things about the man, the conversation, or the cut. I will be continuing to use Tito from now on, without a doubt! read more

I'm visiting family for a two-week stretch and wanted to get a haircut in the area. I booked an appointment here based on the other reviews and it's as good as advertised. I have coarse hair (as do many other Asians) that can be difficult to cut but my barber Elson Rodriguez cut it perfectly. I just showed him a picture of the style I wanted - low skin fade combover with a side part - and he got it done. He has excellent attention to detail and he got me in and out in the time allotted. I definitely plan to come back and would recommend to others. Thanks again! read more
