I have had this service for a few years now and signing up was incredible and they make you feel important. Once you have a policy, making changes is like pulling teeth. I've spent so much time following up by calls, emails or text, it is ridiculous. Also, even if they do answer, be sure to check double that what you asked for was done (I paid 5 months for a car I asked to have taken off) and it never got done. I've spoken to the owner, and it's the same thing "We are short-staffed, busy, etc" that I have been hearing since 2020. I have a job, and following up daily is a headache. I was with True Pro for about 8 years, and they always had great service. I would say within the last year their service has gone down drastically. They don't respond, they don't follow up. I wanted to look for another insurance, when I finally got a hold of someone at True Pro they told me I could look on my own for another insurance... umm isnt that the brokers job??? What do they actually do now? Who knows. Things that used to be taken care of same day, now take weeks, if at all. No one knows what they are doing, they get a 0 out of 10 for customer service. Needless to say, I found another insurance on my own. I didnt even bother to let them know I am no longer be working with them, they don't respond anyway. After purchasing our new home in June, our then Home Owner's Insurance decided to cancel us for having an outdated electric panel. We got the panel fixed and then tried to reach my agent, but got no returned calls or emails. Finally, I got a new agent on the line, but then got quoted - through the same company - at $2800 more than the original policy they had issued us... (!!! Not kidding !!!) So there we were... no coverage. (Good Sam isn't all that good...) After calling a few other companies in the area, a friend of ours recommended Bo at True Pro. I had my insurance with Autumn Hart and her husband and herself work at this company. After working with farmers they moved to true pro insurance company. Autumn asked me to cancel my insurance so she could write insurance with new company since I had farmers previously. She quoted me a great price so I agreed. After 4 months I found she actually could not get she payment she had quoted me. I had been without fire insurance for 4 months. After I spoke to her, she just said she made a mistake but never called me back to let me know the problem. I find her and her husband very dishonest and unprofessional. One of my favorite things that makes them stand out is their ability to work with you directly via email. You can ask questions, get quotes, request changes and make payments via email. I find this much faster and easier than calling. Also, their prices are VERY competitive and among the lowest in the industry. I love this company and the people that run it and own it. What an amazing family owners business by an amazing family. We were SO GLAD they did the homeowners policy for our clients who were victims of the recent alpine fire.
