We recently had Zack Muir help us renew our Mortgage and we could not be more pleased. Outstanding customer service, Delivered after my bank of 16yrs didn't, would highly recommend this brokerage to anyone 1st time homebuyers or not, This place was professional from beginning to end, even saved me 15k by submitting a request to CMHC on my behalf to extend the normal cutoff for porting my previous CHMC insurance to the new mortgage, Thanks Zack.. read more

In the last 5 years, we used Kelly to re-finance a mortgage, almost buy a house (problems with home inspection), then buy another house. In all cases she was competent and professional, and for our last purchase, she was even reaching out to the lender to get us lower fixed rates as prime dropped. Because of this we got a better rate than what would have been available on closing day. Good communication and no surprises! read more

The reason why I've never met her is because she works with Jason Savoy and worked through him to get me my mortgage (you can find my review of Jason here: http://www.yelp.com/biz/investors-group-jason-savoy-halifax?hrid=P-k_w3PCbqBU4VFMZs04pw) All I know is that I put in my mortgage application on the 7th, told Jason that it was due on the 14th and it wasn't done until the 13th. Even though they had informed me that it would only take a day or two. I repeatedly emailed, called and left voice mails for her - all of which she didn't reply back to. I expect there to be delays and bumps along the way, it's not those that leave a bad taste in my mouth, it's how they're handled by supposed 'professionals'. If I'm in the dark, have no idea if the mortgage is going to pull through for the offer on my house and you're not communicating anything to me, it leaves me with extreme anxiety and a reminder of never dealing with a professional or their company ever again.

I had no idea how to do a water sample and no idea of the procedure on getting it to a lab to have it tested, she walked me through it and was there every step of the way beyond just a water test. In my situation I needed quick action when it came to the paper work as the house we found was a quick closing and went into a biding war, Sandi was quick to reply and to get everything done which in return got me the home I wanted. Not only was she quick on replying but also flexible with time and location on where we would meet. I was really apprehensive at doing my mortgage over the phone seeing as the closest office was in Halifax and I live near Moncton New Brunswick. I was working out west and didn't have a whole Lot of time at home and left my renewal till the last minute because I forgot of course.I spoke to Zack and he emailed me all the documents that I needed; filled them out email them back and was done, that simple. Not only did I received a rate way below what any other bank were offering me but I didn't have to leave my house to do it! I will definitely go back in five years and anybody who wants to get great hassle free service with a great rate go see (Or call) these people you won't be disappointed. I went to 5 different lenders (4 banks and an investment company), all had similar rates and no one seemed to want my business I mean not one of them followed up with us to see if there is anything they could do or if we had made a decision. I started looking online and found True North Mortgage. Read some reviews and decided to fill out the form. Zack got back to me the very next day. We started working together. He had the best rate and made the whole thing very easy. We have a couple more steps then transferring my mortgage to the new lender will be complete. Thank you Zack!! read more

I arranged the initial mortgage on my house four years ago through Kelly Boyle, who came up with a great interest rate and was extremely helpful. When it came time to renew my mortgage this year I contacted her and she was again totally helpful and very quick to respond to any questions or concerns I had. She steered me away from spending more in the long run for refinancing and again found a great low interest rate. She was also invaluable in navigating all the paperwork necessary to transfer my mortgage from the previous company. Highly recommended!! read more

I stopping in at the True North Mortgage office in Purdy's Wharf last week. My wife and I will be renewing our mortgage at the end of the month and i wanted to get a second quote, other then what the bank (our current lender) had sent us in the mail.
