Was going to leave 2 stars as Angelo was at least going to refund me the out of pocket costs including mechanic inspection for the first deal he reneged on. Paid him a $5K deposit on a Friday to pick up on Monday and he sounded truly embarrassed and sorry when he called over the weekend to tell me the vehicle was actually on consignment and the owner backed out. He offered me a better deal than before on the other RV I was considering. I asked for a day to think about it and he agreed. He texted me back later to say "I'm gonna refund you back your deposit we have full price offer on the 2017 $67,500 my apologies" What a huge waste of time and an emotional rollercoaster for our family. This happened back in March so we're over it now but I wanted to add to others' warning about this business. Angelo lied to me multiple times. High pressure sales, should have trusted my gut and run. Sold me a $10,000 RV and said it was good condition. It's has cost me nearly 4K and counting. He said it needed very little work, (He failed to mention, one entire side was rotted out from water damage, and the entire roof was leaking, multiple appliances failed right after purchase.) This has been a huge strain on me and my family. $4,000 extra money put into it, to try to get it back to what he said it was. I try to engage him on all that was wrong, he said VIARV who was repairing was trying to take advantage of me! Then of course he ghosted on me, stopping returning my text and calls. I live three hours away - I came and put a deposit on an RV, and was told to come back the next weekend to pick it up, because they were going to fix the step cover for me, and reseal the roof, and put new batteries in it. I came back the next weekend and they had done none of those things. Then we found that they had carpeted OVER the old carpet, which hung up the slideout and burned up the slideout motor, while i was there. They also had a screw sticking out the side of the exterior wall from reinstalling the dinette bench. Said they would fix it all and deliver it to me. The finance company had already sent the check, he said he would NOT deposit it until i got the coach. Well, a week later the "carpets basically done, just got the motor in, will have it done in a few days." So the next weekend I'm trying to plan delivery and am told "we are waiting on the motor still, but the carpet is done." So they were sent the wrong motor, okay, it happens. The finance company has indicated that he deposited the check already - thats sketchy. Finally 3 1/2 weeks in they get the motor, and I'm told the carpet is almost done. (Wait, wasnt it done?) So I plan on the next weekend, 31 days after deposit, to get the coach. Then Thursday comes and I'm told its all done, but theres a relay that needs replacing, we will do it in the morning. Okay no problem. So Friday he says "look, the carpet isn't in, my carpet guy is gone until Monday" - I'm supposed to leave for an already postponed trip on Tuesday. Lie after lie, I finally got him to call the guy in, and I drove all the way back up, only to sit there for an hour while the guy finished a HORRIBLE recarpet job. I didnt have time to check everything through, because he wanted to go home at this point, but I was told it all worked. Step cover was not fixed. Onan 7500 generator doesnt work. Water pump control module is dead AND the pump is plumbed backwards. The fridge doesnt work. The dual zone heat/AC system is spliced up and only one furnace is hooked up. SO many lies from these guys, don't let them fool you. They have NO idea what they are doing with RVs and they just want to get you in and out and tell you what you need to hear. I regret this purchase very much and I hope no one has to deal with these guys again. read more

Went there trying to buy an RV, open but have a starting point where I want to be. One RV in particular they had on their website interested me but was sold when I got there, not a big deal. I ask about others and with a whole 10 or less motor homes salesman was super lazy, didn't really know what they had and seemed like he did not want to sell anything, well cash buyer off to another lot and now that I see the reviews I am glad he was too lazy to make a living. read more

Caveat emptor really applies here. They are so busy making money, they don't have time to clean or check out the RV's thoroughly before "flipping" the RV's. "Make hay while the sun shines" could be their motto, as it's evident that business is booming and customer service is suffering. I was told that the rig I purchased would be "gone through" to make sure everything worked. The house battery was so bad, when I added water, it steamed and sprayed battery acid everywhere! Refrigerator pc board is bad. Vehicle A/C doesn't work. When I asked Angelo about what their procedure was for "going through" the vehicles he was condescending and rude. Angelo has poor business practices and part time buys for Northwest Motorsports Puyallup. Told me he wanted a truck to pull his RVs around the lot, then forwarded me to his "friends" to check out the truck. Nobody mentioned they wouldn't buy a perfectly running truck with a couple of hail dings. If he's this shady doing business over a couple of days I can only imagine what else is shady about his business practices. Came to look at a Class A they had listed online. What a joke this place is. I would not trust any RVs on this lot! Some of the RVs on the lot seemed to be used as sleeping quarters for the weird looking people that were "working on" RVs on the lot. Every RV I looked at was dirty and smelled gross. read more

Do not buy a single item from this lot! My family bought a motorhome from them and needless to say that it has only be a nightmare and a half. They are extremely dishonest and disappointing people. We were told that things were going to be fixed, none of which have been. They try to secretly remove items from already purchased motorhomes. They do not care about you, just the money that you have. After hours of phone calls and text, the owner finally answered with a "Get to the point. I can't imagine anyone buying anything from this company. Every motorhome we walked through was filthy. Cupboard doors falling off of three of the motorhomes we went through. The carpet was wet in one and you slid as you walked onto the floor. Because your feet were wet . You were allowed to walk into any RV with your muddy feet. No covering over any of the carpets. The whole time we were there no one came out to see if we needed anything. I've never seen such a horrible business in my life. read more

Was promised it was in excellent condition, only to have it arrive with no couch, missing an AC shroud, many broken door handles, and an electrical issue with a slide. Pollo/Angelo promised to send a check for the missing couch + labor to install, we have not seen the check yet. They will not answer or return messages or calls now. We have totaled around $1890.00 worth of broken or missing items. DONT BUY FROM TRUCK CITY RV. NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE DEAL SOUNDS, BECAUSE HIS IDEA OF PERFECT CONDITION IS INACCURATE. read more

We bought a Monaco as we were moving and we had to move out of our house and move everything into the motorhome and it was supposed to be a great running motor home as we were first-time motorhome buyers as it turned out the motorhome was worn out nothing worked and we got they delivered it and lights didn't even work heater didn't work nothing worked absolutely and so we called truck city and they said come on down we've got another one for you? At their choice it was a little nicer but it's something they chose for us, however there was a $7,000 difference and the owners decided they were entitled to keep the $7,000 because we paid cash? We are still pursuing getting this money back and they paid me to take the review down however before going to court we have requested the money back and they have yet to respond don't go here you want to deal with if you want to deal with honest people. $7000.00 difference and they refuse to give it to us? I was looking at a motorhome Angelo had listed for sale. Looked like a fare deal, Angelo said he could hold it for me with $1500 down payment on a credit card. I went ahead and gave him my card and he made the charge at (5:15 PM) past closing time.The next morning at (10:30 am) open for 30 minutes. I had found another one and changed my mind on the one Angelo had. So I called John Stevens, Angelo finance man to get a refund. John said no refund and that he turned down customers that wanted the motorhome but he told them it was sold? The motorhome was never pulled from craigslist or his web site and everyone knows dealers leave rigs on the web site way past the sale. There was a balance on the coach for $50K that I never paid. I cancelled the order within 17 hours and they where only open less then 30 minutes of that time. No where on the purchase contract does it say non-refundable deposit nor did Angelo Tell me it was non-Refunable. I have contacted my credit card company to see what they can do to help. We put $2K down on a class A contingent on inspection. We are from Alaska. Unfortunately my mom passed away in Nebraska 3 days prior to traveling to Sumner, WA and inspecting it. I called Angelo to let him know our circumstances but all he said was he had to turn down multiple sales opportunities because he was holding it for us. On our way back from Nebraska we made it a point to stop In Seattle and at least look at the coach. It was filthy and full of mouse crap. We were told it was a one owner coach with no damage history. Ran a VIN check and discovered three accidents and 3 owners. I told Angelo we didn't like the coach and offered to let him keep $500 of our deposit for holding it and leave it at that. Instead we get a $1,000 reimbursement check and again told multiple lost sales because holding it. The coach we were looking at has been for sale for quite a while starting at 56K and gradually dropped down to 44K. I'll just chock it up as a learning experience!!
