Gentleman showed up within 30 minutes on a Saturday evening from the local Chevron. His name was Akash and found out he was the owner. He was extremely friendly and courteous. I asked if there was a tire place in town that could fix our tire. He said bring it by his station the next day Sunday and he would have his crew fix. We showed up the next day, he was there and had his team fix within 30 minutes. Such great service and extremely helpful and friendly. Thank you for taking care of us.

I pointed out the error because I did not want her till/ account to be $75 short. The whole interaction did not go well. She did share that the person before me had upset her. I also witnessed a man get two cups of coffee and the bill was $6. He had mentioned he had stopped in earlier this morning and it was half the price that turned into another conflict before I could even get out the door. I don't know if I will be back. I did not notice any pre-cooked foods or salads or sandwiches or anything like they used to have. Many items on the shelf did not have prices on them . It's been awhile since I've been in there. My 2004 Toyota Tacoma 4WD blew a rear axle seal on the driver side and the bearing was going out as I was passing through Langlois. I stopped over by the market, at someone's private shop because I saw a similar looking Tacoma to mine and figured, hell, that owner may know more about it than me. His name is Rhett, and he is a local trucker to the area. He was also a very stand-up guy who told me about Eric. Eric got the parts and did the job fast, with skill and precision. My rig felt, and was safe in his hands. His mechanic Jake who helped out on the job is also a class-act guy who even gave me a ride to the market to get food and drink while I waited. You can't get better service. Anywhere I've been at least. And for the price too! I was surprised to see the bill at half of what I thought it was going to cost me. I honestly am sad I don't live closer to Langlois Oregon. The people there are one of a kind and showed me what small-town hospitality is all about. I will always stop in Langlois and show love to the people of the wonderful town! Rhett, Eric, Jake, Jake, Will, and Janet - thanks so much for helping me out when I was broken down. I will never forget you!

While my tank was filling, the fellow assisting me gave my windshield a very thorough wash, carefully scrubbing off bugs that'd been baked on there months ago. I didn't even ask, the guy just did it. My windshield was BAD when I pulled in, and beautiful when I left! Gas prices are kinda high these days, but the service at this particular gas station was wonderful. Both of the employees I interacted with were super friendly and fast.

This Shell is easy to get to, has a VERY large entrance and easy exit. Station has diesel, a nice little store, car wash, and an easy going staff. Excellent choice for fueling before or after the pull over the mountains. Note station hours in Michelle C. review. Grocerys, restaurants, pharmacy, bank, liquor store, and post office across the street with another huge parking area. Very little signage to direct you to this station.
