I brought my my 2016 Caprice with 3500 original miles here for a full repaint and to fix all the dents, scrapes, etc. It was in a small wreck and I had already replaced all the parts to get it back on the road. The only thing left was cosmetic. I told Jeremy my intend was to make it like new and post it on Bring a Trailer. With the low mileage it was worth the money to do it right and make it look like new. His response was "we're going to make it better than new." We walked around the vehicle and he made notes on every single detail. Then he told me the price and I accepted with no negotiation and did not give them a deadline on the repairs. He told me his new business partner was going to be painting it who had years of experience. A few weeks later when it was done I found countless imperfections. Trash in the paint, runs, bubbling, several dents not fixed or poorly fixed. The list goes on and on. There wasn't one panel that didn't have very noticeable problems. When I discussed the quality with Jeremy he agreed it wasn't what we talked about. He explained that he did the body work himself (and he's not trained in body repair. He's a mechanic) and he paid another shop $2000 to paint it. I was surprised because he had told me his new business partner was the one painting it. Ultimately we agreed that I'd leave the car and he was to cover the cost of materials to do it right and I'd cover labor. Before I left I paid the original agreed amount of $4500. (My mistake for paying before it was done right) The next day Jeremy texted me and said he can't keep losing money on jobs and after speaking to his business partner there's nothing he can do to help me and to come pick up the car. He'd leave the key in it. So instead of calling me to tell me his quote was low and it was going to be more to do the job, he did a very poor job, charged me the full price of $4500 and didn't stand behind any of his work. Now I've got to find another body shop to sand it all down and start from scratch. I tried reaching Jeremy several times to discuss making it right but he's not interested... read more
