They have been so helpful and honest with all of the problems that we had with our '91 Honda Accord. They have always been able to figure out the root cause of the problem, and fix it quickly and cheaply. They do tend to forget to call you back once they are done with the repair so it is good to call and check in on the repair status. When another mechanic said that a repair would be at least $700 to fix the lock on the drivers side door, and that they would need to get a whole new door that would not match our car. Harrelson's was able to fix everything for around $300, while keeping our existing door. At another point my wife and I broke down in Kansas City due to a clutch problem and the repair shop there did over $350 trying to fix the problem (replace the clutch master cylinder and slave). All of this work ended up not fixing the problem so we had Harrelson's look at it, only to find that the problem was just a leaky hose, that cost a grand total of $50 to fix. I can not speak highly enough of these guys, A++ repair shop!

The car had to be towed because it doesn't have a water pump and there is no coolant in the vehicle. When we told him about the issue, the driver said that the vehicle "is under temp." My husband had to point out that since there's no coolant, there is no fluid to actually give an accurate temperature. We have filed a claim with AAA. But don't be surprised if your car needs more work after it gets towed than it did before it got towed. And dont worry.. we did get the car moved from the middle street where he left blocking the road. We moved it into the driveway with the help of a neighbor pushing it.

The tow truck driver showed up in less than half an hour, resolved the issue for me, and gave me some useful recommendations for preventing an issue with my battery going forward. I also came here when I had to get my inspection done to register my vehicle. I made an appointment, the work was done in about twenty minutes, and the staff took time to air my tires and give the engine a cursory look, which resolved an engine light for me. These are top-notch local folks. If you need any sort of car service, or roadside assistance in the Kirksville area, this is who you call.

I ended up having to have my car towed to another repair shop after Bucks Bros refused to work on our car because it was too broken!!! They were extremely rude the whole time we dealt with them and completely unwilling to even try and repair our car.
