Drinking this smoothie is like trying to suck a golf ball through a garden hose. Barley blended and could not drink it. They were also not busy at all with only 3 customers including me in the line. Took 15 minutes to get my food out and I ordered in advance on the app. read more

We were not greeted at the counter. The young woman just stood there staring at us. We waited over 20 minutes for our food, received the wrong sandwich and when we finally got our smoothies, they dropped them off on the counter and didn't say a word. I frequent the Tropical Smoothie Cafe on Eastman, probably a little too often. The manager recognized me outside of the restaurant and said hi. Pretty amazing in my opinion! I love the atmosphere, which is always clean and kept up, and enjoy meeting people there instead of a coffee joint. Never had an issue with my order. The only time I had to wait for a while was when they were overrun from a group who arrived during an event. The drinks and food are made fresh and always hits the spot. :) If you order via the app, it's almost always ready before getting there to pick it up. read more

I haven't back to this location since my last terrible experience there about a year ago and I will say I will rather drive to the other location before returning here. Maybe the manager should take their reviews seriously seeing how almost all of them are customer service related and slow service. People only get 30 minute lunches and when they spend 1/2 of it in line either waiting for the person to take the order or to even collect payment, it is super frustrating having to watch the clock. Yes the employee apologied but when I was the ONLY vehicle in line, it should have been way quicker than nearly 15 min. read more

What a disappointment. We stopped on our way up north. Not a single employee was wearing a mask properly; two had them hanging from one ear while another girl had hers tucked under her chin. They didn't even have the respect to put it on while handing us our order (which they got wrong). People like this are why COVID won't go away! Please retrain your staff on proper PPE etiquette and how to safely prepare food for other people during a global health crisis. read more

Why did my sunrise sunset have white furry hairs or particles in it? i was pulling quarter to half inch thin white hairs from my tongue after i got about a quarter of the way through it. none of the fruits that are in this have hair like that...or any fruit that i know of, for that matter. first time going to this location, after this experience and reading other terrible reviews, definitely not going back. read more

What a disappointment. The smoothie was the worst I've ever had. I chose the detox island green with a cali wrap. The smoothie totally lacked flavor. There was no sign of kale or spinach, other than green coloring. The ginger was totally omitted. Seemed to be just a hint of banana with green dye with crushed ice. The wrap consisted of some frozen commercially "grilled" chicken strip pieces with sysco pesto, romaine lettuce and cheese. Also lacking! The food sucks!! Cute decor though! read more

I've stopped three times on my way up north. Each time took over 20 minutes for the drive through. The outdoor appearance is appalling while waiting in the drive through. A falling down peeling paint fence and dead landscaping overrun with weeds. The worst TSC on the planet. I tried to go here for lunch today. I stood at the counter for 10+ minutes and no one ever came out to take my order.. there is no bell to ring for service and I could hear like 3 employees talking and laughing in the back... Very frustrating when you only have a half hour lunch break! I know the food at the Saginaw Rd location is very good but I will not be wasting my time at this place again. Terrible experience. This very young obnoxious woman, Alexis, pressured me into donating for this thing called camp sunshine and wouldn't tell me what it was. She ripped the money out of my hands and was very rude and loud. She then made me blueberry bliss instead of a kiwi quencher(what I ordered) and refused to remake it, because they "aren't allowed to". She did not apologize for it either. She did not tell me to have a nice day. Absolutely horrible, never coming back here again because of her. read more

My husband and I got smoothies there yesterday and it took forever. It took as long to get them as it would have gotten an appetizer, salads, and main course elsewhere. Additionally, this place doesn't seem too clean. An example of this is, they have 2 purple sofas that need shampooing or thrown out. read more
