He stays on top of new trends and is trained as both a barber and a stylist, so he's got the chops to make you look sharp. Best of all, he keeps things fresh - don't know a damn thing about good hair? Just ask Marc what's up and he'll give you the latest. I tend to know what I want coming into Oaks but if Marc is feeling particularly inspired by something he's seen recently, I'm 100% comfortable telling him to go for it. It's always a good result. Now, is the place perfect? For $25 a cut, yes. That said, I'd like an option to pay $30 -$35 for a 45-minute cut, personally. Taking the extra time to check for straggling hairs, throw in a final rinse before adding product, and then spend a few solid minutes styling until it's ready for a night out would be worthwhile for those of us who appreciate an uncompromising attention to detail. Additionally, this place direly needs a website given it's tucked-away location (with online booking - it is the 21st century after all - and 'before and after' pics to showcase the tremendous talent hiding out in this place). All-in-all, can't beat it for a men's cut.
