I have been a patient here on and off for the last 20 years and would not have made it through some very hard times without their expert guidance. I came to Dr Howard for help during my first marriage. Unfortunatley, it ended in divorce, but Dr Howard helped us maintain a solid foundation for raising our children together. Half the population has issues in their adult life, probably more in the stressful AV,and it is silly to suffer silently, or rely on friends with no skills, to limp along with spouses, kids, parents, coworkers, substance abuse, dysphoria. I've seen a few doctors at MFCC of AV and am very impressed. They are skilled, compassionate and affordable, even without insurance. Several take medicaid. They are not always accessible, and perhaps not a first choice for crisis interventions, but if you can work with them for 10 sessions or more on their schedule, your mental state and quality of life will surely improve. You will learn about yourself and take control. Don't think your problems are hopeless - get help. It's nothing to be ashamed of.
