We are a Cornish family business established by Frank Tripp over 50 years ago. Three generations of the Tripp family work together, combining a wealth of experience and expertise. Now one of the few remaining large independent removals companies in Cornwall, Tripp Removals and Storage is first choice for those who prefer a flexible and personal service. We offer comprehensive packing, removals and storage services, but can also accommodate the transport or storage of single items. We have a storage facility that has a capacity of 17,816 sq ft to store your belongings. We specialise in moves within and to Cornwall. The fleet is designed to access narrow, winding lanes and our local knowledge is invaluable in selecting the best vehicles and team members for each move. We take the same care with removals beyond Cornwall, and pride ourselves on providing a dependable and excellent service across the UK, mainland Europe and beyond.

History

Established in 1966.

Tripp Removals and Storage has been owned and run by our family for over 50 years. It is currently run by brother and sister team, Operations Manager Simon Tripp and Financial Manager Allison Cowie. Between them, Simon and Allison have over 40 years experience in the removals industry and have been involved in all aspects of the business. We have been a member of the British Association of Removers for over 40 years and take pride in our professionalism. In order to maintain our high standards we pay close attention to our customer feedback and are always working to improve the services we offer. As an independent Cornish business we aim to use our local knowledge and expertise to deliver a flexible and personal service. And with the next generation of the Tripp family recently joining the business we look forward to doing this for many more years to come.

Meet the Manager: Allison C.

Allison began working for the business in 2005, the business was moved to make room for a new B&Q store. The removals operations relocated to a larger storage facility at United Downs Industrial Estate whilst the office remained at the family home in Penryn. With a growing fleet and workforce, family members brought their skills and enthusiasm to the business.
