Had these folk demo a house for us. Did a great job and a very reasonable price. Would have them do it again without hesitation.

When installing new carpet in the house they used different dye lots. When packing up our belongings they broke and damaged thousand of dollars worth of stuff. Our belongings were thrown into boxes with no bubble wrap, packing paper or inventory of the items. They also used temp workers who had never worked for Paul Davis and gave them no training or direction about packing our belongings. Paul Davis left these temp workers alone in our house with no supervision for eight hours. They did no use any moving blankets in the truck when storing our belongings. I definitely would not recommend this company to anyone. I would tell you to AVOID PAUL DAVIS OF SIOUX CITY, IA and the general manager, Lehi Tonga.

Their employees who packed and cleaned my personal property put items from 3 or 4 rooms all together in 1 box. Most things came back with Sheetrock dust, glass and insulation still on them. Most items were wrapped well but some were not wrapped at all and breakable items were stored in bottoms of boxes or put on the bottom of a pile of heavy boxes. The workers drug furniture across my hardwood floors and laminate flooring causing extra damage that they wouldn't cover so it was added to my insurance claim. Their subcontractors installed the siding incorrectly with a nail gun and left gaps around windows and there were places where the siding wasn't even attached. They charged me for new foam insulation board when the old was never removed from the home and then lied and said there was never any on the house to begin with. Luckily I had taken pictures and could prove they were lying. The subcontractor who installed the new pre-hung door and sidelight has it installed twisted and not level so there are 1/2 inch gaps around the top and side of the door, it swings back shut when you open it and has to be covered with a blanket to keep the cold air out. I have to order and pay to have another new door installed because PDR says it had to be cut to fit when it came and now it warped and isn't covered by a warranty. This tells me their worker who measured it must have measured it wrong as you shouldn't have to cut a pre-hung door, it should come in the frame and be ready to be installed correctly. I was over charged for supplies and labor, I was never told who or when someone would be working in my home as we had originally agreed upon. I have never worked with such dishonest and uncaring people. It is bad enough to have Mother Nature rip your house apart but to have the restoration company who should be helping put everything back in order cause you more stress and duress is just uncalled for. Do yourself a favor when you need a restoration company and call anyone but Paul Davis Restoration.

Your staff was always on time and very professional. At the end of the day, the site was always cleaned and ready for the next day so no time was wasted. You were always quick to answer my calls and readily available to address any concerns I had on anything. You handled permitting and worked with inspectors appropriately and promptly. We worked together for months on this and had our share of disagreements. Even when tensions got high, you would always make time to discuss alternatives and solutions. I would highly recommend you to others for their construction needs.

I made the massive mistake of hiring his company to do some dirt work, lay some concrete, and remove and replace a retaining wall in my yard. It was a $12k estimate. Things started off fine, and demolition was accomplished in one day. Then when they poured the concrete, he claimed the concrete itself cured too quickly for them to properly finish it. They blamed Standard Concrete. Suits from this company came out and inspected the concrete and found nothing wrong with it, but Ryan said he wouldn't put his name on the work, and came out and tore up most of it without my permission. He ruined my entire backyard with his skid steer while doing it. His guys framed to repour, but then he quit working and kept asking for more money. I ended up paying the $12k estimate in full just to get him to come finish the job, but even that wasn't enough. He now wanted more money than that, and refused to complete any more work. He was awful to me and treated me horribly, and at one point even texted me "F*** you" among other things. I still have every text he sent me for proof. I finally refused to work with him anymore. I only got the retaining wall removed, my backyard destroyed, and maybe 100 foot of sidewalk done for $12k. I hired another company to complete the job because I couldn't stand the thought of seeing or talking to Ryan again. He's truly an awful person.
