The gas station was a welcome respite on a long drive across Kansas. Store was clean, restrooms clean. The coffee tasted good. There were quite a few people there, probably many local people visit as it may be the only open gas station/mini mart nearby. and maybe since it was the Fourth of July (Tuesday), it was the only store in the area open? I would've given it five stars except for two things. There appeared to be three workers on site - three were behind the counters, probably visiting with each other or with the customers (?) but only ONE appeared to be checking people out. So, there was a long wait for the check out. Also, there was no whipped topping for the coffee, so I went up to the one who was behind the food area counter and asked her if they could refill it. She kind of looked at another worker, and they both agreed they didn't know how to do it. I even offered that I have seen it done many times so I might be able to help give some instructions and they just ignored that and continued with the visiting. (My daughter, who was with me said it didn't appear there was anything in the ovens that would've held the one to the cooking area and I don't know what the second one was assigned to do.) read more

Non of the desiel pumps will work with credit card, gotta go in and pay. Cashier says there new and finicky. There all beeping so something is wrong. Tell Cashier she totally ingnores like she has herd it a 100 times. Checked out their little deli food o m g super expensive. I will be avoiding this place. read more

This truck stop is in the middle of nowhere with plenty of parking for semi's. We were greeted right when we came in by a worker that has been there for over 20 years. She was making more pizzas to put out on the rack and the place smelled wonderful. We had to move over to their Grab and Dash Deli and ordered the double cheeseburgers with bacon and I grabbed some muffins for our long trip. The aisles were wide, clean and most of the shelves were stocked. There was some boxes and other merchandise that needed to be put up in the back of the store and it did look like the place needed some updating. They're still using an old manual credit card machine that you had to swipe the cards on, the numbers on the machine were barely visible but it worked on the diesel we got. While waiting for my husband to fill the truck up, I visited with very sweet lady that had worked here so long and looked around checking out the store. When my husband came, our meals were done right on time. We thanked this precious lady and headed back out to the truck. Our burgers were big, hot off the grill and so delicious. This is the place to go if you find yourself out in these boondocks. read more

An oasis on 99. The friendly lights beckon to a traveler in need of fuel. Self-help and off we go! The inside looked warm and inviting. Well lit, several other cars parked up front, some big rigs lit up out back. Not exactly a truck stop. read more
