What a great place to escape and get away from everything. A place to go and get closer to God. I went with a group of ladies and ended up spending more time by myself which was exactly what I needed. The food service was good, the cabin was clean and over all it was a great experience. This is not a 5 star lodging by any means but what you might think of as advanced camping. Cabins with electricity heat and bathrooms. A small kitchenette. A modern campground with a serious budget that sees frequent use from communities all over the state. Church rentals, group events, and the camp's own retreats are a large part of the camp culture. I attended a three day winter retreat, and it was excellent. Lodging is very up to date due to the generous camp budget, but the one [very] bad drawback is the food served by the camp itself. Many meals were undoubtedly mass-produced, often leaving a very unpleasant aftertaste. I hate to say that the best thing I had there was the cereal from the serve-yourself bar. That's the one downside, but if you're looking for a spiritual experience with a community then it's a great place to host. Just don't forget plenty of snacks. read more

This is my 2nd women's retreat at this camp. The staff and volunteers were awesome. The food was very good and they provided lots of options for diets and allergies. They were very accommodating. The lectures were informative and inspiring. There are retreats for men on different dates, kids summer camp too. Super fun. I recommend coming here if you can. read more
