She passed last…read moreTuesday and the staff who came to the house were so loving, gentle and caring with the family and her husband. They comforted him with hugs and help make her transition out of the home a little more easier for him. They handled everything with the utmost respect. The following day we met with Jayme at the funeral home and were greeted with hugs, hospitality and warm baked chocolate chip cookies. Jayme made sure the planning process was not stressful and explained everything in detail and took her time. Never did the family feel rushed into anything. Their packages were beautiful and the items included in our package were heart warming. I love the thumb print necklace. Jayme consistently offered anything we might need and even her cell number in case we needed to make any changes. The next day when the obituary hit the newspaper we found an error on our part. She quickly made the changes to the online obituary and reprinted all of the cards, book pages and bookmarks. During the private family only viewing, we were never rushed and able to spend quiet time with our beloved Daisy. The did an amazing job with her hair, clothes and makeup. Daisy was beautiful. The next day at the funeral, it rained. Jayme and her team arrived an hour and a half early and did a fantastic job lining up cars in a small lot. The flowers were perfectly placed around Ms. Daisy's casket and guests were escorted into the church with umbrellas. The family was consistently treated with the utmost care and respect. The procession to the cemetery was slow and somber, giving everyone a little time to reflect on the memories of their beloved Daisy. Jayme and her team always hugged, shook hands and blessed the entire family. Never in my life have I ever seen such a beautifully planned funeral and it could not have been more perfect without the help of the amazing people at East Lawn!

It's a generational business that's been in the community for decades. Their attention to detail shown to me and my family during the passing of my mother was impeccable. Every detail was checked and professional executed. Even details I hadn't thought out. Every question I had was promptly answered, no matter how silly I felt they were. They were always available to me, always, even on Christmas day. Not once did they give me the feeling I was being bothersome. They knew the passing of my mother was a deep pain and they were so very attentive and caring toward me. The owner talked with me about the passing of his loved one and that really touched my heart. To share his personal experience with me while I was navigating my loss showed a level of compassion unsurpassed. After the Memorial service, they gave me a plaque with my mother's picture on it and a poem which brilliantly described the love I had with my mother.
