I am also having the same issue with Trinity Homes not refunding my $1,000 "Earnest Money" after Trinity Homes Sales (El Paso, Texas) was selling property lots that did not belong to them. Unbelievable!! I was later informed that my money would be refunded because of the property lot issue. After several months of not seeing my refund I contacted Trinity Homes Sales and i was informed that the office that handles the earnest money account had a fire and destroyed the records which delayed my earnest money being refunded. The fire occurred sometime in May 2016. I do not understand the delay since the Earnest Money should have been placed in an escrow account managed by Trinity Homes real estate agent or the title company. If I could give it zero stars I would!! Horrible unprofessional business people. They take months to build a home supposebly they get behind on their work. The owner doesn't respond to my calls and refuses to give me back my earnest money I put into the home. I would recommend to never buy a home through these lousy people!!! They are scammers and will take your money. read more
