I was referred to trinity by a friend when I was looking at becoming a financial adviser myself.
When an adviser called me and said he would come round and discuss the options I though'oh yeah and try to make as many sales as you can'. I was delightfully surprised with the meeting.
The adviser was very helpful with my questions and as I thought did ask about my personal circumstances.
He explained where he thought we had a shortfull and what we could do to fix it. He said that he was paid by the company provider but as he was governed by the FSA he couldn't sell us the product that made him the most if that wasn't the best product for us.
We have been with the same adviser for nearly 4 years now and have never been pressured into taking a product or go with a particular company. There have been a couple of times when we have decided that we haven't been able to afford the suggested 'route' and the adviser has looked at other options with us or left it until we could afford.
The branch itself is outdated and needs a facelift - but this does not affect the way the advisers work and shows that they are good with money - why spend it on decorating when it's not a necessity. read more
