I was recently saved and baptized. I went to this church as it was recommended to me by a friend. When I went to this past Sunday service, I got there just before 11 am. I sat there for over an hour suffering with so much fog that was being sprayed into the room that I felt like it was a concert. I had suffered for over an hour. I could not breathe. I had to use my inhaler 3 times just sitting there. I felt like I was going to pass out. I had to leave and sit on the stairs. The singing continued. The doors were shut so I moved closer to the side entrance doors only to still feel the effects from fog machines. A man that was a member of the church was talking to me and brought to my attention that the preacher does not do any scriptures. Like what? Where is the word of God?! I have to carry an inhaler with me as I have asthma. I felt like this preacher is wanting to be more of a leader of a band that a preacher. No word of God, no scripture, and coming from someone who was just recently saved, it felt this was more of mega church trying to turn into a rock band. I do not know how some of the older people could stand the fog machines being sprayed constantly and the chemical effects it took on me. I had to leave the service without any words of God spoken. I was quite disappointed and can confirm that I will not be coming back. I think the preacher needs to take a look at the service he is providing and re-evaluate what exactly he is trying to do, because if he is trying to be a leader of a band, then go do that but not use Jesus Christ as a frontman for his desires to lead a band instead of a church.
