My son was falsely accused of something he did not do, which demonstrates serious issues in how students are disciplined. The meals are consistently poor and barely edible. My daughter even suffered food poisoning from the lunches. On top of that, students have very little time to eat. According to my son, by the time they sit down, there is only about 5-10 minutes left to finish their meals. Recess and breaks are practically nonexistent. My 11-year-old son reported having only a 10-minute recess once a week, which is insufficient. My daughter in middle school stated that she gets virtually no break time at all--just a few minutes at most. In conclusion, this school fails on multiple levels: student treatment, nutrition, and daily schedule. I cannot recommend it. If the school truly wanted to improve, they would need to address all of these issues.

With that said why do every school counselor in this district always have an excuse on why they don't call a parent back or do what they say and it's fine. But don't you as the parent have an excuse as you will be executed! If the counselors are too overwhelmed to handle the children effectively than hire more cut elsewhere like administration levels on stupid wasted jobs! Our children are more important than having another administrator do nothing and get paid 70,000 plus benefits!! Lets go Austintown get a clue!! If I hear one more teacher, counselor, principal, superintendent from this district tell me things are crazy there and they are so busy to take 5 minutes out of their day to call a concerned parent back. Alumni network = These people are highly favorable of current students and are a huge asset to you for jobs and internships 4.... 4 Year Graduation Guarantee = Do it all in four years or the school pays for it (unless you made a mistake when registering classes) 5. Academics = At the end of the day, W&J is a great school with smart people - not stuck up smart people - who are hard workers. Work hard play hard.
