This is my dear friend's favorite coffee shop in Graz, and I totally understand why. Not only is their coffee strong and smooth, and their food delicious, but it's such a nice place to hang out. There's indoor and outdoor seating, and we sat near the window to be able to look outside and people watch. It was so pleasant. I also loved the baristas made a little smile face art on the latte I ordered. It was so good, smooth and tasty. They had a little bar where you could add sugar and some flavorings to the coffee (my American self very appreciated this). They even had chocolate powders. Last, the bagel sandwich was YUM. A poppyseed bagel with pesto, tomato, spinach and egg, so fresh and delicious. They had a lot of tempting baked goods and sweets as well. read more

We had to look hard for something imperfect here. The good: Prompt, friendly, knowledgeable service; good variety of food and great variety of drinks. Lovely view. Cappuccinos were perfect. Apple streusel was fresh and tasty. Kid-friendly, and even has outdoor seating with blankets for smokers. Decor is intentionally rustic, but in some places a tad bit worn or sloppy (e.g. around A/C units) Strong recommendation for a casual morning! read more

Your typical Graz coffee shop for students by students. Coffee is good, the atmosphere is usually a bit tens as most people go there to either see or be seen. If you're fine with being checked out by other guests while standing in the usual line it is your spot. read more

I wish I'd heard about Tribeka earlier in my stay in Graz; I'd been having trouble with my coffee consumption in Austria (I prefer filter coffee to espresso drinks) but this CAPPUCCINO. CHANGED. ME. I don't even understand how it tasted better than every other cappuccino I've tried - I just chalk it up to some kind of magic. Here in Graz visiting for business. Strolled in early Sunday morning and already quite busy. Great coffee shop! Actually pretty spacious. Downstairs was packed but they have an upstairs area which is all seating plus the WC. Good free WiFi provided by the city. I was told it is cash only for those expecting to use credit card. Simple menu. Good alternative for my hotels pricy and mediocre breakfast buffet. read more

Best coffee I had in Graz, and not too expensive either. I had a cappuccino and a macchiato (on different visits). Both were very good. It has a hip, modern feel that reminds me of many cafes in New York or San Francisco -- which makes it a nice place to read the paper in the morning before you get to the sight seeing nearby. read more

People in Graz are a big coffee drinking crowd and tribeka is still the best coffee in town. super friendly staff. delicious lattes and espressos. lots of sprinkly stuff for those of us who don't like it too plain ;-) snacks available. Prices totally ok. 2.8 for a latte! read more

Legendary coffe and smoothies!!

Really good coffee and snacks to it. An extremely comfortable place with free W-Lan. One can easily spend hours here, surfing, chatting with friends. The decor is spartan but fresh. The crowd is youngish, from university students to 40ish business people. Only reason this place don't get 5 stars from me is the lack of a mirror in the bathroom, and the many hard seats. good service at the counter. The wifi is free wifi, but its the local city access, not provided by the coffee shop. It still has good reception inside and at the outside tables. Many locals hanging out and working on their laptops. The location is nice, right next to the river, and center of town. The smoothies are good for a local shop, but the coffee drinks are the better option. The latte was very good. read more

tribeka defenetely has the best capuccino and cafe latte in town. they really know how to steam the milk and make coffee art. it's popular among students. the success of tribeka helped to improve the quality of coffee in cafes all around graz. read more
