The scope of work consisted of asphalt patching of a gravel by our shop and sealing of both drives. The asphalt patch was completed with the sealing of the two driveways. By November the sealing was already wearing away. Contacted them in March 18/25 with the issue, response of "no issue, we'll be there" NO show. Contacted again July 22, just a BS excuse. I've cross-posted this in the hopes that no one else deals with losing thousands of dollars and that we finally get our refund, as promised. Update: June 3, 2025 Communicated with Kyle on May 5 - he said payments would be coming, and gauranteed refund in full by June 10. There have been no payments. Tired of the empty promises, excuses, and no follow through. Update: May 2, 2025 Spoke to Kyle a couple of times since posting the review, and he promised to pay back some of the money by mid-April. I have not received any payment. Original review: Kyle took my deposit in December 2023 to repair my driveway and add extra spaces. He assured me I was first on the list for April/May 2024. I was thrilled. Twice, I took days off of work, but Kyle never showed up. He didn't contact me to tell me he wasn't coming. Throughout 2024, he gave multiple excuses for why the work couldn't be completed. These included claims of losing my phone number, misplacing his cell phone, losing my email address, forgetting my address, needing to come out for another quote (even though we had already been quoted twice and the second one jumped by a couple thousand dollars), and work emergencies. I believed him for a while because I had no reason not to. But then I started seeing videos and pictures on his social media of other people's driveways/projects being completed while trying to get NEW customers. When I mentioned this, he insisted the job would be completed before the end of summer. In September 2024, I asked for my deposit back because the work was never done. He apologized, gave several excuses, and insisted he would refund me in two weeks. Since then, I have consistently heard the same "two weeks" line, but each time, the date comes and goes without contact from him. I have tried to remain patient and even agreed to receive the refund in installments. Now, as of March 2025, I have yet to receive ANY of my deposit back. Just last week, he claimed he'd drop it off, but once again, he hasn't followed through or contacted me to set up a time. That's why I am finally writing this review. I feel taken advantage of, and I hope others don't have to deal with this kind of treatment. read more

Kyle is a Scam artist. Did an extremely shitty job on my driveway. Promised to come back for the third time and never showed up (of course). He doesn't answer calls and very hard to track down. He is not reliable and is an habitual liar. Has gotten jobs in my neighbourhood and all I hear are their major complaints and doesn't come back to fix/repair the mess he has made to our driveways. He is not welcome in our neighbourhood as he is scamming vulnerable senior people and has been reported. I should have done my due diligence before getting him to do this very unprofessional job. He should be ashamed of himself!! read more

Kyle has repaired and sealed my driveway several times, the repair was caused by someone else and he did an amazing job of restoring the look of my driveway. I now have Trius doing my snow removal and again a terrific job. I would recommend him (Trius) to anybody. My neighbor also had him seal his driveway and was pleased with the result! I contacted Kyle to get a quote for my 48 unit townhouse complex. He showed up the same day, and I had a written quote within the week. Once the quote was approved, he and his crew showed up the following week and got to work! There were some delays due to rain, but Kyle and the guys went above and beyond to get my property finished. They even did extras not quoted, or charged for. They worked around the members here to ensure the large project was as painless as possible for the people who live here. We were looking for a company to spray our asphalt and didn't want to have that shiny painted on look of a roll on application. Tri " Us" was recommended to us. When speaking with Kyle, he assured us that even though it was a roll on application that it contained asphalt and would give us the look we wanted. We were very satisfied with both the look and the professional service that we got. It was quick and easy, and looks dark black but with an asphalt appearance - no shiny look. They edged it carefully so that there was no black on the surrounding stone. A friend came by and was impressed with how it looked so took a picture of the sign so that she could get a quote.
