It's hard to have new person cut your hair after going to the same person for 10 years. I finally found the right spot and this is it. You don't have to make an appointment but the barber I got a fade from require you to. His name is Russell Shaw and he is really good! His booth is the first one by the window. I winged it based off of the favorable google reviews (I will be adding this review there as well). I must say, it was a very pleasant experience! The owner cut my sons hair and is such a welcoming individual. Prior to cutting my sons hair, I explained to him that my son is a little shy and self conscious. He asked my sons name and when it came time to cut his hair, he shook his hand, called him by name and made him feel comfortable. Not an easy task with my son. As he was cutting his hair he kept conversation with him about the things my son enjoys. He made suggestions for his haircut and asked him what he'd like and he loves his haircut! That's the most important part! He did a great job and we will definitely be returning as regular customers of Bongo! The prices are fair, the atmosphere is welcoming, they have WiFi (a def plus), the music is good (not expletive filled and played at a comfortable level) and the cut my son received is awesome! By far the most pleasant we've received thus far.
