Hit by a Trexis insured driver on April 30th. Myself and the other driver were cordial with each other, exchanged insurance info and got a police report filed. Got home and called my insurance company. Then I Google "Trexis insurance reviews" and my stomach sank. Gotta admit, its very sketchy for an insurance company to have no social media presence in this day and age. I braced myself for a hassle, and accepted that I might have to file through my own insurance. But honestly, things with Trexis went fairly smooth. They sent me a link to a website through which to send photos of the damage. Within a week, the vehicle was declared a total loss, and the claim was forwarded to their total loss department. Made me a very fair offer. Minus one star because things were kinda drug out at this point, and I had to act as a go-between between Trexis and my loan company more than once to get things moving. Not sure on which end the miscommunication was happening, but somebody definitely dropped the ball more than once. But in the end, all was resolved. Finance company received the payoff on May 25th, and I received a check for the balance two days later. Not the smoothest of procedures, but far, far better than I'd feared. Calling it a win. Edit - I feel I should point out that I have a family member with a spare vehicle that I was able to borrow, so I didn't bother with trying to get a rental. That may have played into my positive experience. My daughter was rear ended by one of their policies holders. I had FOUR adjusters all of whom asked me for the police report which I emailed 3 times over a period of 2 weeks. They lowballed the repair estimate- get this - $1300 - for a Subaru with rear cameras. The collision center refused to release our car until specific safety calibrations were done so we reached a stalemate. It's been 4 weeks. Their policy holder was cited by the police as their fault in the accident. Reported the claim to them and they say it will take a month for them to complete their investigation on the claim!! A simple call to inquire if I was covered for an ATV accident has turn into months of headaches. I've spent months of going back and forth with the claims adjuster, waiting weeks to hear back and after all that being told they dont even cover off roads vehicles. The Adjuster had the audacity to say my guess was as good as hers as to what the status or updates on my claim was. When I asked to speak to the manager or get the contact for someone who knew what is actually going on she refused saying this was her claim. I called the customer service number, explained the situation and asked to speak to someone else, I was again transferred to the same lady who at this point didn't even identify herself, until I started explaining her lack of knowledge. My experience with trexis insurance has been horrible. My truck was hit by some woman driving the wrong way. I had to get my truck towed to a tow yard. I contacted Trexis insurance and submitted a claim. They had my vehicle towed to a place called insurance auto auctions. While my vehicle was there, all my belongings were ripped from my vehicle personal sentimental stuff I had in the backseat, my floor mats, they even lost my key. I had to get a new key made everything down to my paperwork and even my vehicle registration was taken away.Nobody took responsibility for my missing property. Also, it took 3 1/2 months before I got my vehicle back. I had sent it to a repair shop and it sat there for three weeks and they didn't even know it was there..what my adjuster Courtney Robertson told me that they were working on my vehicle and was communicating with them. She did nothing but lie to me and didn't care about my vehicle. She didn't even care about her job. So I had to find a little shop out of town to get my repairs done. I talked to someone else from Trexis to try and get compensation for my stolen property. I contacted someone named Laurie Ridolph. She used every excuse saying they was not responsible for my belongings. My vehicle was in their possession and they made the decision to send it to Insurance auto auctions/IAA. According to IAA, their policy is to remove items from the vehicle to take pictures of the inside so they can get it ready for auction. There was poor communication between Trexis and IAA. They did not tell them that my vehicle wasn't totaled and that it was only going to sit there for a day until I chose a repair shop. If I didn't step in and take action they would have auctioned my vehicle away. Yet Trexis refused to take any responsibility for anything and I had to fight with them for 3 1/2 months until I got my vehicle back. The repair shop that fixed my vehicle even said that they were never going to work with Trexis again. I had to wait an additional two weeks for them to pay the repair shop before I can pick up my vehicle. And to top it all off, they dropped me the second I got my vehicle back. lack of response to customer feedback shows that a company doesn't value their customers. Trexis was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!! My appraiser JEFF LUSK was absolutely rude, inconsistent, negligent, lacking of basic customer service skills, uneducated, inattentive... the list goes on and on. This man told me he doesn't listen to voicemails what so ever. Long story short Trexis tried to make my vehicle a total loss. Having doubts I asked Jeff if I found a shop that would fix for less than 75% of the ACV ( anything above 75% of the ACV in tennesee is a total loss) if Trexis would pay to fix it and he said yes. Following that every estimate I received was significantly lower than the estimate trexis came up with. Not to mention trexis added part to my estimate that didn't even need to be fixed and I put that info in the notes when sending photos to them. Following this Jeff told me he gave me incorrect information and they were still going to total my vehicle and that he (quote) "wasn't going to go back and forth with me". Even though that's his job! I then started speaking with a supervisor, whom sent someone out to inspect my vehicle. The shop I took it to, did a teardown to get an accurate appraisal... I let everyone I spoke with at trexis know this, and they also spoke with my shop. After looking at the car trexis LIED and tried to say there would be a supplement fee added to the total cost and that my vehicle was never torn down. And still tried to total it. I had to make a complaint with the state department of insurance. My insurance told them the same thing, that they considered it a total loss and that my shop would charge a supplement fee + they didn't do a tear down "so there would be hidden damage". I rebuttled and sent s statement from my shop to the state showing proof that there were no extra fees and that they did a teardown. Trexis FINALLY AGREED TO FIX MY CAR AND NOT TOTAL IT!. I was hit by someone who had Trexis, soninwent through their insurance policy to fix my car. Looking at the reviews, I was definitely skeptical. I'm happy to say I had a positive experience. Getting the claim started was a bit tedious because it's just talking to a robot, but it only took 10ish minutes. The claim adjuster reached out to me shortly after. My claim adjuster's name is John Powers and he was extremely helpful! He sent me a link to upload pictures for an estimate. Then I was sent a check and took the car to a repair shop of my choosing. The repair took way longer than anyone expected because the vendor kept sending a wrong part, but John was able to keep me in a rental car the whole time which was helpful. The repairs cost more than the estimate because of some damage behind the bumper, but that was all covered by Trexis as well. My preference would have been to not get rear-ended on my way home from work on a Friday, but all things considered this was a good experience. read more

We had a driver hit our auto. They showed me their insurance was with Trexis Insurance. I called them and received a Claim number. Rachel Durham was my Adjuster. I sent her photos of the damage to our auto. She sent to us an Appraiser to see the damage and do an appraisal for repair and the estimated cost. This was sent to me. I took this to a nearby body shop. We set a date for them to start the repair. They did a great job for the repair and I gave them the check that was sent to me from Rachel.
