One person in my party ran the marathon, and needless to say, they were very hungry. Between us, we had ordered the pig knuckles (it was huge - about the size of someone's head), schnitzel, and a meatball dish. All the dishes we had were very reasonably priced for the amount of food it was. We all enjoyed our food, and it seemed like it was a great taste into German food (can't be sure it is authentic since I'm not German myself, but judging by how everyone else in the restaurant was speaking German, I think it wasn't a tourist trap). The ambience of the restaurant was stellar. It was located on a quiet side street near a park, and a bit hard to find since it was off the main roads and was raining the night we went there. The walls of the restaurant were adorned with many old pictures and posters dating back to the 1930s or so. The restaurant had a front room, and also a fairly large back room that isn't immediately obvious when you enter. The whole feeling of the place was one of a historic, quaint old German pub. The feeling was magnified by the fact that the waitress did not speak any English, so you can tell that not many groups of entirely foreigners wandered their way over to here (luckily one member of my party spoke enough German for us to get by).
