The Alu could have used a bit more spice, but was flavorful. And the roti - it would hold it's own anywhere in India. CB had the vegetarian thali and I had the non vegetarian thali. The Nan was outstanding perfectly done. The dal makhni was like they make it in Calcutta and unlike any I tasted in Los Angeles. The Gobi was cooked to perfection. The rogan gosht was perfect without the gaminess of the lamb. The amritsari chicken while I have never eaten before was also quite good. Cap it off with some masala chai perfectly spiced with cardamom - you cannot ask for a better place to eat Indian food. I only wish we had them in LA instead of all the way here in Austria

This is a truly lovely pensione high up in the Alps. We stayed there on the recommendation of…read morebusiness associates in Bregenz and what a great recommendation it was. The room was good sized by European standards and was immaculately clean. The hotel has a spa in the basement with a sauna and steam room all included in the room charge. The breakfast served was outstanding as was the dinner. They even had fresh flowers on the table in the dead of winter. Hotel Adler was an integral part of the best vacation trip we ever had.
