Treetop Adventures was super fun! We had a fantastic time. Perfect weather, and no bugs. The price was reasonable ($40 Canadian a person, including taxes. Gear and instruction included, but bring your own gloves if your hands are sensitive). We made reservations to do it during the off-season early in October to celebrate my 21st birthday. They went out of their way to accommodate our request for that specific day. Couldn't have asked for a better tour guide than Taylor. He was extremely patient and helpful with putting on the gear, especially stressing the importance of safety in the trees and staying attached to the line. He took a ton of awesome pictures for us and even suggested a couple shots that turned out extra well.
They no longer operate the long zip lines. Instead they have a course of 24 or so obstacle games in the trees, which takes about 2 hours to complete. The games are marked easy, moderate, and hard, and they're high but not too high off the ground. The variety is excellent, and the course is well thought out. From the start of putting on our gear/orientation to the time we completed them it took us an hour and forty-five minutes. (We are both in our twenties).
Though scared of heights and not of gymnastic fitness, I was able to do all the games, even the hard ones. Taylor was encouraging and told me the easiest ways to do them :) Though I was a little worried at times, I never felt unsafe and I would do it all over again! Completely worth it. We had more fun than we'd had in forever and it was a good teamwork exercise for the both of us. read more
